Why can't Celine have one of the guest house finished first so she can move in there before the big house is completed!?!? :blink:

I wondering if she is afraid of any hurricane"s hitting the house, since she is near Atlantic Ocean/ gulf coast.I would be afraid of any storm that hits my house.

I doubt that's the reason Céline hasn't moved in yet. I have family that lives in Jupiter/Stuart and other areas of Florida who live on the water or nearby. It's a reality living in the state.

Gosh...at this rate, the baby is gonna be here before the house (and the tour Dvd, for that matter!) My parents want to build a house...I'm trying to talk them out of it for that reason, it seems like building takes sooooo long!

 

 

and its very difficult on the family! Especially if you are living there at the time of the construction. Celine's lucky to have other places to stay.

I think the entire forum can move in, and still there would be enough room!

 

Actually it doesn't look that huge... It's a big house with a nice piece of land and some pools but not that extra ordinary like some of the other celebrities houses. However, it seems to be a nice place to have a nice barbecue with a decent group from this board :icon_mrgreen:

It's really small for a celebrity house... the central part is quite big but the wings are small... We all know that Celine doesn't like big houses.. She said how she loves having everything close when Oprah was in her Vegas one....

Celine Dion channels Michael Jackson

For a diminutive singer, Celine Dion is stirring big ire from some of her neighbors in Florida. Dion is adding a substantial pool complex to her home in Jupiter Island and it resembles something Michael Jackson might have created at Neverland, according to one neighbor.

 

“I wish she had gone and done it somewhere other than Jupiter Island,” Joe Farish, who lives down the street from the multiplatinum selling singer, told Life & Style magazine. “Distasteful is what it looks like — the whole thing sounds like a Michael Jackson fairyland to me.”

 

The magazine reports that plans include “two giant pools, waterslides and a lazy river, much like an amusement park.”

 

“I don’t know how she got the well permits in there, because the town is usually pretty restrictive with stuff like that,” Farish said. “It demeans the whole area. I heard she has a big family, so I guess she wants to entertain all of Canada there.”

 

I want to stay there!

Does it really even affect the neighbors? The blocks of land are pretty big, so he wouldn't be within like, 10 metres of her house, the way most people's neighbors probably are!! And you probably can't even see it from the street... Maybe he should just quit complaining.

For one I can't believe that website gave out her street name, let alone address. Now, about this Joe guy, he just wants his little fifteen minutes of fame which is why he reported this nonsense to life and style. He's jealous is what it is. I'm sure Celine's home will be completely secure and pretty much invisable from the road, like her Quebec home. It is sort of over the top but nothing the neighbors will need to worry about. She's not bringing down the neighborhood or anything. With a class act like Celine living in your neighborhood you should be friggen proud to live there. ahole. :innocent: If anything he's bringing it down with his rude attitude.

It seems to me that they are building a bit far from the road so nothing will be visible from the main street.

That Joe guy is a complete moron. That home is beautiful, and I hope that she has the best time there. I thought that the last comment he made about "all of Canada being there", was absolutely disgusting. He is the reason why people think Americans are so ignorant. Good for you Celine! You deserve it! :D
