I wasn't going to mention this, but being a bit of a film buff myself, I made the connection instantly, and it really is a bit bizarre.

Nelson Eddy was a very famous star of MGM musical operettas in the early 1930's. Most notably, together with Jeanette McDonald he made about about 10 highly successful films where they became known worldwide as the singing sweethearts. Unfortunatley he was also about as wooden an actor as you could hope to meet and has a voice that is firmly rooted in the era of his popularity. But it is quite funny that Celine has named her two sons after him, albeit inadvertantly (I hope! )

It isnt names that I would specifically choose. However I like how they chose names which meant something to them and they arent the worst names given by parents to their children lol.

Nelson is a common last name, or the sound of it.
