That was deffiantly the best Celine interview ever. When I saw Celine, crying talking about baby C. I was crying, I wanted to give her a big hug. Man Celine, is a strong woman.

I never said you didn't like it, I just said I loved it . And I don't need subs. I understand most of you do, that's ok, I want it without subs. Subs bug me when what I'm watching is in a language I understand, that's all. I prefer to not have Celine covered by subs. I'm sure we'll get both with and without subs.

 

Unrelated to the above, I really wonder what's on the others 2 hours of interview Julie took. Cause she said they talked for 3 hours, and we've seen some 45 minutes of it...

 

Oh, and I loved the never seen before footage from the Taking Chances tour. They should have put that kind of footage on the DVD, not the songs from the concert...for the 3rd time.

 

I just remembered another cool thing she said about parenting: never try to reason with your kid while he/she's having a tantrum! She says that whenever she has something to point out to RC, she never does it in public or while he's angry, because that it becomes just about which of them can scream louder. I tell you, there are so many mothers out there that should learn this lesson. I see them all the time, yelling at their kids in public and stuff like that, and I hate it.

 

And she was pretty pissed at people that think 40s is too old to have a child. She thinks that part of the reason her mom was depressed when she was pregnant with her it's because of all the judgement people pass on women in their 40s being pregnant. Julie asked about Rene's age and Celine said they don't about it too often, because she knows he's thinking about that. So, instead of talking about, they act upon it and just spend as much time as possible with RC. Like sometimes she tells him to go play with RC and if Rene says he did that, she tells him to go play some more. She says her happiest moments are to see Rene and RC playing baseball.

 

Talking about that, have you guys noticed how focused the kid is when he's playing? I love that. I haven't seen that in many kids, being so focused. And the belly bump between Rene and RC .

 

Julie asked about the house and if she had budget for it. Celine's anwer: "That doesn't work, budgets". She said Rene is sometimes shocked, cause he signs the checks and he's very concerned about what people will think. Celine says she also cares about what people think about her concerts, albums, but she doesn't bring that home with her. "What happens in my yard, stays in my yard, even if it's big", Celine says. She says she built the big house and everything so she'd be able to spend time with her entire family, because they just can't go in a public aqua park like everyone else, for example. So she prefers to have her own pool and have the rest of the family come there and have fun.

 

Julie asked her if, in a way, this is her revange on growing up poor, and now she was able to give her mom a great life. And Celine says that she doesn't know if she's got it better or her mom did. But it's all about passing the values to the children, not about the things you give them.

 

When they were talking about the show in Vegas she said it's all about going big. Everything is big, my belly is big, everything is big she said .

 

She said she was very proud of herself for taking history lessons before meeting Nelson Mandela, that it made her grow as a person and it made her feel like she was a good mom to do that with her son.
