..........the entire setlist was performed at both shows. So of course each had about 10 songs cut. They are both from reheasals which included the entire show.

But she walked on stage to start TPOL surely she would already be on stage if she sang Nature Boy? Then she ran off stage afterwards to change...

There was mix performances.. Zora Sourit was broadcast in a TV show in France called Envoyé Spécial, and recorded in Montreal. But All By Myself was in NYC, Let's Talk About Love was somewhere else, and Immortality was in Fort Lauderdale, and there was many stadiums in Europe for the FIY/D'Eux Tour.

Oprah special was The Power of Love, Seduces Me, If I Could and I Drove All Night only. It was recorded on March 15, 2003 which was two days before the rehearsal shows.

The show started at 2:15 and Celine started out singing LIVE "The Power Of Love." She wore a very sheer and see through outfit for this song. Her hair is short and it's not as bad as people think she looks good in person. She did a clothes change and later came back with a white shirt and black slacks. Celine moves more like a dancer now and doesn't where high heels or tight fitting clothes. She wears ballet shoes and dances a lot more. She went on to sing "Seduces Me" and she sat in a chair while all these male dancers with no shirts gathered around her trying to touch her, but couldn't because she's just untouchable like that. She told jokes after singing that song about how those guys looked good and that women need a chair like that. She dedicated the next song to René Charles! From what I know this song isn't on the new album but my guess of the title would be "If I Could." The dancers in this song came down on wires as little children on swings and a tree came from below the stage and grew. Celine said it takes a lot of water to keep a tree like that alive in a place like Las Vegas. She ended her performance with "I drove All Night". She danced really loosely in this song.

 

I can't remember what song this happened in, but two male dancers on wires walked across the stage in mid air pushing a piano as if they were on the floor, that was an interesting effect. The interview at the end was short because they said they had more footage from when they followed Celine around. Oprah said she was glad to have the name "women" because Celine is wonderful. Celine was truly touched and almost came to tears from the warm welcome she got from everyone and was truly happy to have been there. The show ended at 4:20pm.

I remember reading (from people who attended the taping) that Goodbye's The Saddest Word was actually performed live at the A New Day Has Come CBS Special. A video of Celine performing the song was later released on a cd single, but it was dubbed. It is such a shame too, as it would have been the one and only live performance of Goodbye's The Saddest Word available.

No she didn't! She sang the "normal version"!

In the little video we have, they showed "Vivement Dimanche" because well... they needed a video to dub with that full english version (recorded in studio). (They are not going to show a blank screen when playing the song lol)

She definitely sang the English version at Vivement Dimanche as well as the French version. One of the forum members from the other forum called Nic recorded it on her phone and uploaded it for us, I think it was part of Celine's verse in English then part of the chorus. Does anyone still have this clip?

Where is the footage from the "English version" in the bottom clip?

 

Anyyway, the clip that was shared on the forum was of the first verse where Celine was walking from her seat and it was in English. So Celine sang it twice that day, it seems. Maybe someone who was at the taping can tell us more.

"Love Is All We Need" and "A New Day Has Come (Radio Remix)" were cut from the set list of A New Day... just before the show debuted to the public. I'm not sure if that counts for this topic or not.
