I'd love to hear her sing ''There you'll be'' from Pear Harbour,

I LOVE Faith Hill, but I can't stand TYB for some reason! :puke:

I think a Barbra Medley is due too... I'd think this one would be awesome:

I keep getting this WEIRD out of the blue feeling that Titanic will be apart of this.

Just can't put my finger on it though.

I think that orchestra version of her songs are great :D

but for some songs it doesnt work if not arranged properly. TTWII at WCD, its missed a little bit more beat ;-)

I'm afraid it will only contains sweet ballads, :( but only time will tell!!

Would love to see these songs included:

Prayer

Right In Front Of You

Water From The Moon

Then You Look At Me

When You Tell Me That You Love Me

Imagine Celine singing this:

I think having an orchestra is a brilliant idea. Something i've wanted for ages - and hopefully a show that will focus more on Celine's voice. Just cos she'll have an orchestra doesn't mean they'll be playing all instruments on all songs. Some songs (i would think) will be mainly Celine's band and perhaps adding a section or 2 of the orchestra. So some songs that wouldn't work with a full orchestra, can still work. Depends on which songs they choose. And i also hope they update MHWGO - bring the beauty of the song, film, and voice back again, and show people why that song was so successful.

I hope they will perform it as the Soundtrack version, which is more orchestral than LTAL!

is this an omen???

Did You Know?

Celine listened to a lot of American music even before she learned to speak English. With a pen or hairbrush in hand, she would sing in front of the mirror, imitating artists like Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder. One song she loved to perform over and over again was the 1980s Irene Cara hit "What A Feeling" from the movie Flashdance. The movie was particularly inspiring for Celine because of its message of not giving up on your dreams.

I think "The way we were" by Barbra Streisand would be so classy. "I Finally found someone" from the mirror has two faces could be beautifully done too.

Oh i'm so hoping at then you look at me, i have loved that song since I first heard it!

The minute I heard about this Classic Hollywood theme, I came to think about this:

I'd just love to hear her perform that

- En somme, trois choses demeurent: la foi, l'espérance et l'amour, mais la plus grande d'entre elles, c'est l'amour. -

The new show, which premieres during spring break, 2011, will be Dion, a 31-piece orchestra and a program filled with songs from Hollywood movies. "Oh yes, it's `Over the Rainbow' time, baby," she exults, "and I'm going to love it."

Thanks, Vinny, for posting that!

That was so touching and funny, too.

Actually, it's the afternoon, because – as husband René Angelil warns in a preparatory conversation – "We had quite a party last night and Céline is sleeping in for a little bit."

Wonderful, that she's enjoying herself :) And that she's all excited about the new show! Not beating the fans in that, though :P

and something from Evita, maybe Buenos Aires or Lament :)

I'm hoping she brings back her rendition of "Flashdance...What A Feeling." :)

Moon River from Breakfast at Tiffany's would be STUNNING sing by Celine. It would be so beautiful.
"Every night in my dreams, I see you, I feel you. You're here...there's nothing I fear"
Posted

"I have nothing" from The Bodyguard

" I want to spend my lifetime loving you" from Zorro.

there are sooo many songs i think would be cool with an orchestra... :D

i think she will suprise us all march 15th ;)

Posted

I think she will sing of course her songs from the success movies like My Heart Will Go On or Because You Loved Me.

But it doesn't matter what she sing it will be perfect implementation

I can't wait for the SHOW!!!

This sentence says it ALL and starts all

Une voix d'or dans un Cœur enfant

It’s safe to say they will be all the old sappy tunes that nobody wants to hear but old senile grandmas!

LOL@Calling You! Yes, stay away from Céline with quality songs. I dare you!

that soundtrack version is not more orchestral in my opinion because it really misses an orchestral touch because of the electric piano and the synthsesisers. The way it was arranged for LTAL is so much better in my opinion.. And that is a pity considering James Horner had such a huge orchestra! The best orchestral version I have heard so far, is the 1998 grammy awards version

I don't think Celine will ever sing something from Whitney and especially not such a big song (singing the phonebook to the tune of ''I will always love you'' doesn't count). Celine considers Whitney as one of the best voices and I think to spare herself the whole thing of being compared to such a big voice, she would never do it. It is very risky for any artist to sing such a big song. For the same reasons Whitney will never sing a Celine song. I'm not saying that Celine won't be able to sing a Whitney song. I mean at the moment with the condition Whitney's voice is in, Celine would probably sing circles around her... but I don't think it will ever happen...

I Agreee Celine would never cover Whitney or Mariah or Faith Hill for that matter
Posted

I though about this for about a week, and I would love to see her sing those songs

Calling You

Because You Loved Me

What A Wonderfull World

What A Feeling

Tommorow (Annie)

Memories (Cats)

Papa Can You Hear Me (from Yentl)

Non Je Ne Regrette Rien

Live

I Want To Spent My Lifetime Loving You

Then You Look At Me

Imagine

It's All Coming Back To Me Now

I'm Alive

I so hope My Heart Will Go On is not part of the list... I know some of you will disagree but I've heard this song for the past 13 years on EVERY show she did.. Sometimes it is just TO much. Céline recorded lots and lots of other songs that sound great onstage and can you imagine with a Bigband.. I hope she will do more Jim Steinman songs since they are "made" for a bigband!

Elle est mon idéal, La plus grande étoile

Will be going to Celine march 2 and 5 2016 and June 20 and 21 2016

yeah she has been singing the song forever.. but remember.. MHWGO is her biggest most recognizable hit.. and if this is a show about hollywood movies then MHWGO will for sure be a part of it.. it'd be nice to see MHWGO at the beginning.. but i think they have found that putting MHWGO at the very end of her show works well.. plus it'll be nice to have an orcestral version of the song.. so it'll be a little different :P

Yes, I'd die and go to heaven if she does a Whitney "Bodyguard" medley, but I'm quite sure that won't happen. I don't expect for her to ever cover Whitney again.

Let's not forget she performed "The Greatest Love of All" AND "Saving All My Love For You" in the mid-late 80's.

Really? I did not know that. Do you have links for videos or mp3s?
