Wanting to echo the thank you's going on...I have not been able to take advantage of the photographs or most of the videos, but I did also feel like I was there...I love what I heard from one of you about "bringing the best of our beloved Celine Dion" and "enjoying this moment with our down-to-earth diva." The way we all love her...I love how we love her...hopefully all tonight continued to show our love to her...thinking of you all and you, dearest Celine!!

I don't know what system you have, but the easiest way is to create a folder for the files, like "Celine Live in Las Vegas" then if you want another folder for opening night, make one inside the Celine folder and name it "Opening Night" (quotation marks not needed). Then all you have to do is click and drag the files over to the Opening Night folder and you can the successfully get them into Itunes. If that's too complicated, look in the menus for "Extract Files" or "Extract all files"

Hey guys, I'm new, definitely joined after following this thread last night, so exciting!! Now, I know people might not want to hear it, but since it's already been mentioned... more than just the ABM note were mimed.

IACBTM is mimed; its the same track that was used throughout the last Vegas show. Play the bootleg in sync with the audio from the last show, it's obvious.

MHWGO is also mimed; its exactly the same in the bootleg and the recording of the rehearsal. It actually sounds hauntingly similar to the old Vegas version if you play them simultaneously. But there are differences. This might be explained by the poorer quality though.

TPOL sounds very different than the previous playback, so it could be live. We'll have to wait for a bootleg from another night. But it is very likely that the final note was mimed because she hasn't been able to sustain it properly since the early 90s.

The IACBTMN playback is NOT the same as the old Vegas one. Listen closely. MHWGO is also different. But I agree that they are probably (IACBTM) and surely (MHWGO) mimed.

I was there for opening night and it was indeed magical. THanks so much for the bootleg I just dloaded and am now enjoying re-experiencing it. However, I noticed much of the dialogue was cut. In some cases, this is unfortunate for example, when she introduces the song No me quitte pas, she sets the stage for a very emotional performance when she tells us how difficult the song can be to sing at times... etc...

Also...after How Do You Keep the Music Playing, she starts joking about singing with herself, but here it is cut short at, "Yeah right..."

She actually goes on to mock herself saying how difficult she is to work with, always asking where to eat after the show and "blah, blah, blah..." ...it's actually quite funny.

I believe there are a couple of bootlegs on the forum? Is there one with complete dialogue?

Opening night was so much fun it was great seeing all the fans. The show is completely different from the A new day. No dancers just orchestra. I thought she did the whole michael jackson tribute very well. I could have done with out the whole james bond tribute but it was cute how they showed RC at the end of it. She even does a duet by herself!!! She jokes around about it very fun Celine, "dont touch my husband"..... she chats back and forth with herself.

I cant believe they gave everyone in the audience a special edition program for opening night only. I have already seen it listed on ebay, I am keeping mine its such a cool thing to have. Cant wait to finish reading it, i'm so exhausted. work tomorrow lol.

Anyways after the show RC, one of Celine's sisters, and Rene were all getting interviewed, it would have been nice to hear what they were asking them but everyone crowded around so I couldn't hear a thing. RC seems so shy ^_^

During the TC tour, she was able to do, although in a lower key, the high note in All By Myself, so how can it be said that she has not been able to sustain/hold the last high/long note in the Power Of Love since the 90's? I'm sorry, but that doesn't sound like her as I understand her. I find it hard/sad/disappointing to believe she'd do something like that unless timing was off as in the case of All By Myself last night...

Celine has only sang ABM completely live one time since the Millennium concert and that was the opening show for the TCWT (all other playbacks were used though interestingly enough).

I actually thought this was obvious in the concert. It was acapella when the playback starts and I am able to hear well enough that it comes from another source and just has slightly different audio levels. The others were not obvious though.

I am sure all of the new playbacks are newly recorded. they are not the vegas versions because I do not cringe when I listen to them

You're right, I shouldn't have said she's not able to hold it, I just meant that she hasn't. At her concerts and shows, the big note at the end of POL has been playback for over a decade now. The ABM note is a bit different, because the beginning of the song doesn't have many sustained high note, whereas POL has a lot of difficult stuff before. So, I'm guessing that by the time she gets to the end its hard to hold that note right to the end. Anyways it doesn't matter. Lol, don't be disappointed/sad, it's a sign of a wise performer imo.

Thanks, that one is also giving me trouble...I am either waaaaaaaaay too tired and cranky, or just not good with computers...I don't understand why I was able to download Smile and Lullaby but can't do this...arg, frustration rising, I can't believe how much I reeeeeally want to have/hear this.

My bootlegs has every single second of dialogue intact - I made them from Tyler's recordings! He's SO awesome!

I also added covers, info (ID3 tags) and I remastered the stereo sound of the 1st night.
