It would be great to see the funny and upbeat Céline instead of her usual Oprah tears... :whistling:

I honest to goodness had a dream before this announcement was made that I was sitting in the front row at the Oprah show but ended up having to move to the second row before the show started. And Is aw Oprah come out, slap hands with a few guest before heading out to the area where she does her interviews. I think she was wearing a red dress (can't remember now). I really would like to be at an Oprah taping and it would be even more perfect if it was the show Celine was on. I should have submitted my little dream when I filled out the thingy for the taping. :doh:

You think I could resubmit without risk to my submissions being deleted? :shrug:

I would just try. What's the hurt in trying right? I went out of the U.S. to see some shows...that should count for something! lol

For the people who are not having the forums show up, or getting a blank white page after entering...are you using firefox? I'm starting to think that's what the problem is.

It is obvious from that that this interview will be about the movie and nothing else as the whole thing about how the world sees Celine is also one of the major themes of the movie. So I don't think we will learn anything new.

I hope so! I'm actually considering taking part in it, but I'm not so sure what to write. But if any of you guys on the forum are going to the taping, please we want details. I wanna know what she did when the cameras were not roling.

I also think its a bit unfair how they pick fans. Like They only pick people who have gone to the most lenghts for Celine ! so if you havent jumped out of a plane singing "My heart will go on" or change your name to , i dunno, Rene Charles or if you havnt painted Celines face on your butt !! then it looks as though your chances of being picked would be pretty slim !! :lol:

(No offence to anyone who has gone to these lenghts !!) . Hmmm, I dont think telling Oprah that I went to see Celine in Croke Park , and that she may aswell have been a miniture fly , for all i could see , would get me picked, so im going to pass on the whole application thing!!! I really do hope people on this forum get picked though and we can hear all about it

Yeah, I hope someone from here goes too. The parts that are edited out are usually the best parts.

I guess if some fans are able to submit videos and photos, they might make a montage and then ask her questions from the fans :shrug:

Or you have to have some sob story. But actually, when they had Brittany on the show, I think that's the first time they really picked a fan for just being a huge fan, and it was great.

I've never gotten to meet Celine, never went to Vegas and I only saw her once in concert and that was just chance she came close enough to my state and I had to beg and beg and beg my dad to let me go then I had beg my best friends mom to let my best friend go with me. I'm lucky I got to see her the one time at all and its probably the only chance I'll ever get to see her in my life. I couldn't go to Vegas when she was there, its to far from my state and I was only sixteen I believe at the time she started Vegas so my parents said absolutely no way was I going. Not all US fans get to meet her or go to a ton of shows or Vegas.

U.S. fans certainly have more chances to see Celine than a lot of other countries. No doubt about it. But it certainly doesn't mean that just because we live in the U.S. means we will meet her!
