Celine on Oprah - February 10th, 2010

Hey guys! Is there any website that will show now the Oprah show? There is only the ABC???

This was an awesome show. Celine didn't really come up for air once haha. She kept cutting off Oprah and talking over her but it's fine because you can tell she was really passionate about the subjects. As for the crying in the car, I think you'll change your mind after you see the entire movie. It's kind of placed out of context when you watch it on its own like that.

 

We should get all the Oprah appearances on one dvd now!!

Just finished watching Oprah, here are my thoughts to who ever wants to read them...

 

I loved the whole entire hour. Love to hear whats she has to say. Her performance was truly amazing! Flawless!

But is it just me or Celine is a bit crazy ? I was so disapointed when i found out that the reason why she was crying in the car was because some hotel employe found René-Charles' toy! I mean, REALLY?????? Banging on the seat, not once, not twice but like 3 times?? And then start crying to tears???? WOW If i would have been the driver, I would have stopped the car on the side of the road, put it to park, turned around and screamed : WHAT?? WHATS WRONG??? WHY THE F*CK ARE U PANICKING LIKE THIS!!!! DID SOMEONE DIE????? Celine would have replied: "RC found his toy" Than i would have said: ARE U OUT OF YOUR MIND? WHATS WRONG WITH U?? DO U WANT ME TO DO A CAR CRASH OR WHAT????

 

Ok i'm done! i don't know, to me that was just wrong. You don't scream and panic in a car while someone is driving. certainly not for ridiculous reasons like that.

 

AAAnywayyyy Love the Tenors!!! i'm going on itunes to buy their CD right now, the first guy who sang has a REALLY nice voice!!!!

its not the person who was driving that was in front of her. she was on the right side in the back, she was banging on the body guards seat didnt u see when he handed her the phone

body guards never drive but "protect" and theres a another person who drives.

That was the back of Nick's bald head you see, I think you see his face briefly when he hands her the phone.

 

I'm rewatching it now and just realized RC said "Hi Oprah, Hi Mom." He said Oprah first I just thought that was funny.

The Tenors thing was so set up, like they didn't even pretend to act suprised lol. No Oscar for them lol. But can I just say her new vegas show is like gonna be my fav show ever I think, Celine and Old Hollywood, um, yeah thats like my dream concert.

Were u on the oprah show? U look a lot like a girl we saw in the audience ( the very last really happy girl we saw in the begining)

 

And btw, she did panic, cry, punch the seat and everything (i dont know what you understand by panic, but to me she was)

 

To lindsey, i dont really get your point, but for me whether or not your sitting next to, in diagonal, behind of, or far in the back of a car, you just don't react this way, it can be very disturbing for the driver.

 

And to who ever disagree with me, well good for you! LOL!! Keep reacting this way in a car!! Its the safest thing to do! You don't have to agree with me AT ALL!

 

But anyway, like hellmeinter said, lets move on

LMAO! Oprah has been enforcing viewers every day for the past few weeks to make their cars a NO PHONE ZONE. This was probably a big no no for her haha.

yes i know we see the back of the body guards head. i was telling the other person that it wasnt the drivers seat she was banging on but the passengers seat.

and it seems like they rehearsed him to say hi Oprah first, it fits better with the flow.. because if he had said hi oprah last, he would have to go back and ackowledge his mom again to say all the things to her.. it wouldnt flow well. you can tell he was memorizing lines.

there are a few things i want to say:

1. i was shocked that Celine called Rene-Charles RC

2. I loved the interview, Celine was very funny

3. It was so great to see RC!!!!! i've never heard him talked in my life!!!!! and he was really great at sports

4. i was glad i chose to watch this in the basement where no one can see me doing happy dances during the comerical breaks

5. Celine looked beautiful!!!

 

PS. did oprah just say the Tenors are going to preform at the Olympics???? Does this mean Celine won't???

pyb, i think its ok for someone to be on a cell phone in the car just not while driving. besides they have blue tooth which is perfectly legal, so i ahve to disagree with you. Celine was right for banging on the car seat and speaking on the cell phone if she wanted to. she wasnt driving so i dont see a problem

I don't understand why people think it is such a big deal that celine banged on the seat,etc.Yes, it may have distracted the driver , but she was caring about her child....I think any mother who loves their own son/daughter cares enough to make many calls and find the animal or whatever is missing.Celine wants to see Rene Charles happy and I say God Bless her for crying.....

 

I missed the last 10 minutes cause of a class I had to get too...what happened? Seeing Celine on Oprah made my day

Seems to me the driver would have known what the situation was anyway. Why would he be afraid or disturbed by her response? I think it was cute how she responded. It shows you even more about the love she has for her child. I like the fact that she wants to be so involved in his life but at the same time not overshadow him: "If you think my being there won't be too much of a problem, call me! I'm there". So many parents today are not involved in what is happening in their child's life, including school and the children are failing. not just academically. It's really good to know that she wants to be a participant, but at the same time she's learning how to let him be more independent. You can see that it's hard for her though.

 

Sidenote: The blond guy is really hot! Looks like he dug Celine too. He kept touching her, putting his hand around her waist, etc.

Talking about that dude....Celine acted suprised at one point, but the camera was filming something else just before that. Does anybody who went to Oprah saw what he did to her??? I'm curious.

 

He should do solo! We already have Il Divo anyway... He should pull out a Beyoncé and start solo career lolll His voice was shockingly awesome!!!
