Why do you say it would not be good for her image, Christian? In France, people get tired of her being such a family woman. They think she's too much into "My Husband-my son-my mother-my eggs" type-of-things. So, I guess that a movie built around her family life on tour wouldn't be the best thing for her image, even though it would allow people to see how famous she is all around the globe. Quote

If they'd advertised it more (earlier), then more people would know about it and would ask about it and then the decision might have been made to include some small towns. The attitude I've come up against is "we've had no, or very little, interest in this so we won't be showing it". Anyway, enjoy it when you go - I'll just have to wait for the DVD! Quote
J-Man Posted February 16, 2010 at 06:22 PM Posted February 16, 2010 at 06:22 PM How far would you have to travel to see it Wendy? For me it's 3 and a half hours there and the same back and I'd have to do it on the same day, and I'd have to leave work at 12pm, which means taking time off and I need to be back in at 9am on the next day!And I'd have to go alone, no one else is mad enough to do it. I'm sorry that you won't get this at a cinema near you.... but if you/other uk fans really want to see this, isn't Celine worth travelling for? Until very recently I would have had to travel 45 mins/an hour into London by overland train and then tube to see this, which although would cost alot, and took some time, but it would have been worth it for Celine and the movie.... Just remember countries and fans on this forum, who won't get this opportunity at all.... As Celine says... always make the best of what you have. Darren. Quote

Shaun Posted February 16, 2010 at 06:46 PM Posted February 16, 2010 at 06:46 PM I have my tickets booked for Thursday night and have to travel 45 mins in the car to see it. I have the option of going to Edinburgh on Monday to see it as well. I suppose it's just pot luck if you happen to live relatively close to where it is showing. Claudette Posted February 16, 2010 at 06:48 PM Posted February 16, 2010 at 06:48 PM So what are our chances of getting the DVD as soon as the movie run is over? Didn't the Las Vegas DVD come out very soon after it was shown in theaters? Quote http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/ClaudetteRobinson/esme.jpg
