I'm so excited to hear this news this morning! Interesting choice. Now, what I have not been able to gather from the article is the answer to the following question: Will this be a movie that plays for a long time or is this going to be like the A New Day... theatrical event where it was one night only? I get the impression that this will actually be a MOVIE (a la Madonna's Immaculate Collection Tour) and will play for many weeks. Again, it's an interesting choice. This will just open her up to more ridicule from the people who can't stand her but, I think, for the fans, it sounds as if it will be a very personal look into her life - sorta like her version of doing a reality TV show.

 

It will only play for about 2-3 weeks..

they say 2-3 weeks but that's what they said about Michael jacksons movie. .and it's still playing.. I dont think this will be as big as MJ's "This is it" but it will still be a good way to promote Celine.. i just hope that maybe when this DVD comes out there is a full concert version that we can all enjoy. I'm just excited to finally have some news about this! We have been waiting for so long.. for a miracle to come.. (no punt intended hahaha)

I'm glad that FINALLY they did something for the fans.

 

The Movie will be available in selected cinemas all over the world -especially in the cities, that she visited during the tour.

 

It is said that they'll cancel it after 3 weeks, but I believe they'll 100% not because of the bussines reasons -just like "This is it" movie.

 

Then we will have to wait another 2 or 3 moths... maybe a year for the DVD with that movie.

 

Everything is clear...

But I'm still unhappy about this situation 8-(

Let's see, for the Kenny Chesney 3D concert they're announcing it will be in theaters nationwide... which means only USA.

Maybe for "Céline - Through the Eyes of the World" they're announcing it "everywhere" as if saying USA AND Canada!

Oh course that's true, too, but for the cass registers in the cinemas it is absolutly unimportant for which reasons the people see the movie.

And I am absolutly sure that far less people will watch the Celine movie.

yeah But I don't think the point of showing this document is to outsale Micheal Jackson.... it could be that the makers and Céline and René are very happy with this documentairy, and want to reach more people, than they would just putting as a bonus on a dvd! And like announced, it will only play for a few times, so I don't think they will make big losses!
