It's sad news. But I'm a bit ticked off at René for giving so many details, like "we found out 10 days later that she wasn't pregnant". No need to give the exact number of days. He could just say she lost the baby and not get into the details...

 

And saying "We are going to NY City this weekend for a 3rd try!!". Why on earth would he want all the medias to know they will be in New York this weekend!!!!!!" THIS IS CRAZY. That just puts more pressure on them. And I hope that if she does become pregnant again, that they won't confirm anything until she has an obvious belly...

Come on... I am pretty sure she's less sad than you all are! She knew the risks and apparently she was not even pregnant in the first place, so it is not really like she lost a baby...

 

Anyway, it's a good thing that they chose to try again. If it works it'll be great, otherwise it'll be too bad!

Wow, 10 days later she lost the baby. Okay, the pregnancy was announced on August 18th...OMG the Hello Canada magazine I have is dated August 31st.

 

After the announcement on August 18th, I thought it odd that there were only a few initial stories done on the pregnancy. I couldn't understand after a month that there weren't more stories about her pregnancy, especially here in the U.S. Now it all makes sense.

I thought you were like saying we were all just being over dramatic and that it wasn't a big deal because Celine wasn't sad. I'm sure she was but like someone else said she probably knew the chances of the IVF not taking so she was prepared to a degree in case it didn't work this time.

 

Some people are upset that they didn't say anything and that Celine said everything was okay in that video TMZ had, well she probably said everything was great because she was healthy, and knew she could try to get pregnant again and had dealt or was dealing with not being pregnant. I respect that they didn't say anything till now, that was their choice and I stand by them for that. They felt like coping with this and just being together and not saying anything was for the best but then they felt they had to announce it because of the rumors. I hope that makes sense, my lack of sleep and stress level aren't helping.

I agree with you It would be different if the embryo had actually taken and she were a couple of months along. It appears after the 2nd one didn't work, she tried a third time and it didn't take. So, it's not like she's so devastated that her world has ended. She will just try again as is evident that that is what she is doing. I believe she was probably hurt initially because it didn't take. She is probably receiving advice from her doctors and they have probably given her the idea that she should try again (I hope as they are considering her best interest health-wise and emotionally)

They said that the doctors were being very positive about the embryo taking so they announced she was pregnant, but 10 days later they learned it was not the case. Céline was shocked to learn that it was not the case... so my guess is that new tests 10 days later revealed that the embryo had actually not taken.

I think the one to believe is René! According to him there were no Miscarriage! The embry didn't take! That's all! That happens to many couple. When we saw her in NYC she was trying for the second time and this one didn't take either!

I'm still slightly fuzzy on all this, is he saying August was the second attempt or October? because he says in August they found out she wasn't pregnant and that the second attempt was negative. Was he refering to the August attempt? or October? since this is the third attempt I asumme the second was October and the first was August.

What's cool with Céline is that even when she has no album to follow in the charts or no tour from which amateur videos will appear on youtube everyday, we can still hang on to something else... She has been on break for almost 10 months now and every two weeks her pregnancy story provides new twists and turns, that's great, and this will probably keep on feeding our fan addiction during a few months on! Thank you Céline!
