Whitney Houston Record Inspires Celine Dion

I personally think that Will.i.am has a great gift, and can move seemlessly ''with the times'', and still knocks out amazing hits with TBEP and with various other artists who hes worked with...

I think Celine and Rene would be crazy not to work with him on ''one'' song for a new album whenever that will be ( late 2010/ early 2011 ) !!

I just wanted to point out that "I Look to You" was written TEN years ago by R.Kelly for Whitney Houston. It was the hera where everybody was preparing themselves to die when the year 2000 was coming.

 

I think Celine should look forward to work with contemporary artists not artists that do not have any actual projects. For example, the collaboration of Celine with Ben Moody was a BIG mistake because he made her sound like Evanescence back in the year 2002 with the song "This time". It's a good song, very deep meaning but it didn't fit with the actual market because Ben moody wasn't doing any records at that time and didn't actually know the vibe in the music industry. Celine should actually collaborate with number one charter not people from the past.

skies of LA is a beautiful song, i actually listen to it often. i got nothin' left, another song i love....someone said also something about Forget Me Not being crappy..i love the way she sings it and i think she can sing the hell out of any genre she tackles...and i think a lot of you are being a bit close minded thinking that this man can only produce songs like Skies of LA or I Look To You...He's apparently very talented, and in high demand, so give him a chance.

Personally, I like Skies Of L.A. it kinda has a jazz feel to it, I also love, I've Got Nothin' Left. So I say let just wait and see what he produces and writes for Celine.

I don´t think Tricky will do any good for Celine unless he makes something in the wave of Umbrella(Rihanna) Obsessed (Mariah Carey) kinda songs,

not another crappy Skies of L.A. it is boring and sound just like Remember L.A from her 1993 Colour Of My Love album.

 

Celine needs some one Great and i mean the greatest musicians out there for the best singer that ever walked this earth.

 

For Example:

David Foster would make a huge ballad with vocal powers ala All By Myself/I Surrender.

Timbaland is another great with his beats and synths..

Stargate, Bloodshy&Avant=/(Britney Spears, jennifer lopez, madonna) Max Martin the Scandinavian masterminds.he has done some great songs for her.

Walter Afanasieff behind Titanic, Beauty and The Beast and then some from her 90´s era.

I would love Walter´s magical touch once again for Celine.

Harvey Mason JR (Beyoncé´s Listen, I Look To You Whitney)...

 

There so many great producers out there that Celine should work with not working with

Tricky who seems to Produce every new artist and old today, he Produced the entire Memoirs of Imperfect Angel with Mariah,

that to me is a slow jam album and has some good songs that is also because Mariah is who she is the best songwriter/Producer of her own materials Tricky did what she wanted and Celine should have the same if he produces her next album.

I don't like 'Skies of LA'. I find it boring to say the least.

On the other hand, I do like 'I look to you' and I love most of the songs he did with Mariah.

Glad Céline likes the 'traditional' site of music. Hopefully this means there will be REAL instruments on the songs and not all these computerinstruments like on Memoirs.

 

I'm most glad about hearing about a new album. New Céline music is always welcome!

'I Look To You' isn't bad and Celine could do something like this if she wants to. But the truth is that she needs a real big hit. I agree with all of you that prefer 'Call You Tonight', it's really good.

As I personally think her voice has gone, listening to a few tracks on the new album online.

 

But I also was shocked to see how rude she was to certain contestants during the mentoring part of last nights show.... even Simon was a bit pi$$ed off about her remarks as he brought it up once or twice!!

I like it... and you are right, it is perfect for Celine. Kara DioGuardi is very good. ''Surprise Surprise'' is definitely one of my favourites on TC. That is exactly the type of songs that I would like to hear from Celine. Agree with anewdayhascome: no dance album!
