I was so excited buying my fabric tonight that I told the guy at the cutting counter "THIS IS FOR CÉLINE DION!"

 

I couldn't resist. I just had to tell him. You should have seen his face.

 

It was amazing.

frida, how is it going these days, and how much have you raised so far?

^ Standing still at the moment, I've been in bed since wednesday (can't remember ever having a fever like that. And then allergy on top of it). The next step will be to do something about the fabrics that are too thin, a bit slippery etc (I think I'll wait til the worst of the allergy is gone, don't want to sneeze etc all over the fabrics )

 

And we're just above $200 I believe I hope more will join...

so can we still donate what was it 10 dollars and have a square on the quilt with our name? I have a friend who is insistant we send Celine two baby gifts but I seriously doubt they would even get to her or that she would even use them because they would come from well two strangers. I'm thinking about seeing if my friend wants to just do this. Could a non forum member donate? She would need to join the forum right? She might want to do this (donate for the quilt I mean) but I'm not sure. I'd have to ask. I'm not certain a non forum member would be allowed to have their name on the square. She doesn't have to be a member, we already have a husband and a friend on the list (well they could be members too, what do I know). And yup, $10 per person to CF2 (the names will not be on the tiny squares, but on the back of the quilt).

 

So she doesn't have to register here, just make sure I get her name when you're sending the paypal confirmation

My friend and I are meeting Thursday to set up a paypal account and send our donations in, well we will assuming my latpop is back by then. But we will be donating We use the link listed in the donations topic in CF2 right? The link for the paypal account? okay well I think we will go ahead and use paypal, it's easy enough to setup. We are meeting later today to get things setup and our donations sent it. I'll be sure to send you a photo or proof that we did donate Frida
