fyoung98 Posted September 11, 2009 at 11:07 PM Posted September 11, 2009 at 11:07 PM Scans are in the French section. Here's RC with her new haircut!!! You must be joking right?? ... No joke, that's RC's new look.... He doesn't look to happy about it. Not the best picture either... I have to admit, I like his long hair better, but he's a total cutie no matter how his hair looks. I wish I had his hair, it's gorgeous no matter the lenght! That being said, I hate when schools impose haircuts, like the army. People express themselves a lot throught their hair, no matter how young they should be allowed to keep it as they like. Also, I hate school that do that and impose these male/female stereotypes. That pretty much means they impose all kind of stereotypes, not just hair related and I hate that. They could have chosen another school if they did not like the rules. I think the school is good for not bending the rules, including for people as important as Celine and Rene. The school obviously has a standard they would like to uphold and I am sure they did not reach the level of prestige that they have by giving in to those who don't agree with their grooming rules. Celine and Rene obviously agreed to these regulations, otherwise they would not have enrolled him in the school. I wish all schools were like that (I'm a teacher) but unfortunately they don't and I tell you, we face some challenges because of it. That's just my opinion. Lou555 Posted September 12, 2009 at 03:15 AM Posted September 12, 2009 at 03:15 AM I love this new article and the pics - at least those I've already seen and I'm sure all the others as not less amazing! Sooo can't wait for that photo book!!! Can someone who own the paper version give me the details that are written on the cover? I mean, release date (9th September?) vol., no.? I want to try order it here at my local book store but they need the exact details - and of course I also want to get the right issue, hehe! I just bought it today here for $ 4.95. On the cover there is Céline and RC on a motocycle and under the left Paris Match logo it says "L'artiste et son fils René-Charles, photographiés à l'aéroport de Québec". Then to the right in bigger print : "Un entretien exclusif - Céline Dion - Son combat pour un deuxième enfant - Elle s'installe en Floride près de ses médecins - Les plus belles photos de "Céline autour du monde", Le livre de Gérard Schachmes."I see no Vol. number or anything like that but there is one important number, dates and how much it costs in many countries all over the world in very very small print on the side of the cover. Here is what I think could help you. Good luck! No. 3147 - From September 10th to September 16th - Quote
Lou555 Posted September 12, 2009 at 03:48 AM Posted September 12, 2009 at 03:48 AM Haha! She is too funny! What is that thing on her lip? It's liquorice! In the article they say that there's always rolls of liquorice at her disposal in the airplaine to help her to resume strength. But that night after the Prague concert Céline was feeling top shape they say. Quote

Claudette Posted September 13, 2009 at 09:29 PM Posted September 13, 2009 at 09:29 PM Why are the people in the French section saying that Jean Jacques is returning? I don't think I read that in this article or did I miss something? I also wanted to ask: The part in the article where Celine talks about the clogged artery that Rene got, she says that at that time she went to the hospital every second day and that her immunity crashed. Did she mean she went with Rene to his treatments every second day or that she had to go to the hospital every second day because SHE was sick (I'm assuming that this was in November last year when they had to postpone all those shows). Can someone that understands French clear this up for me please. Quote http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/ClaudetteRobinson/esme.jpg

Those posts are off topic I guess because there is no mention of him in the Paris Match article. As for Céline's health, yes she says she had to go to the hospital every second day for herself at that time because SHE was sick and that one of those time she brought René with her to be checked on. René had apparently lost hearing in one ear but thought it was maybe due to using his cell too much or something... Obviously it wasn't and that's when they found out about that clogged artery and did what was needed for René's health. That's also why she gave him that two week stay in Arizona to build his health back and that personal trainer who followed René for the rest of the tour(that last info we all read a while back). Céline was sick very often during the last tour, she cought a lot of things all through the tour and it was very hard on her health. Gérard S. says we can't even imagine how hard it is and that kind of tour is for one a real physical prowess évidently, visiting all those countries on the five continent in one year. He also said that even if Céline tried to protect herself the best she could, that wasn't enough because she cought at one point a respiratory virus when leaving Seoul he says and everyone of them had it too. From then on it was difficult health wise... Edited September 14, 2009 at 03:06 AM by Lou555 Quote

ashleylovesceline Posted September 14, 2009 at 11:07 AM Posted September 14, 2009 at 11:07 AM Thanks for the translation! Wow. It's shocking to hear about Céline being so miserable during the first years in Vegas... I'm glad they worked everything out. I can still see her returning to Vegas though. I remember it being said, when she returned, it would probably be only a month or two out of the whole year. My guess is, they would spend the summer in Vegas. RC would be out of school during that time, so it wouldn't interfere with that. And I don't see her next show being as over the top as A New Day... and the TC tour. Either way, I just hope she does return. We all know how Céline can change her mind... three years in Vegas turned into five + a world tour. I wouldn't blame her if she decided to retire and enjoy her family... but life would be so less colorful for us without an album here and there, and a live performance every year or so. It's only been a year since I've seen her, and I miss her! Thanks for replying. Poor Celine! I guess we will never really know what it must have been like to be on tour...
