Celine was interviewed by Paris Match. It's a great article, I really loved it, talks about everything, I'll tell you more when I get more time, I'm at work now, gotta run .

- RC loves school, he wakes up his parents at 6:45 AM, so that they'll be at school before 7:45. He's already made friends, he's got this group and they call themselves "Les Cinq" and he loves math and science.

I love that picture of Celine and RC - I wouldn't mind getting pulled over! and I bet Celine loves getting up so early lol I remember reading that she's cranky in the morning. So great that RC is enjoying school. Thanks for posting.

So...did she say anything about the pregnancy/baby? From the bits I could read on the website, she didn't seem to say much at all, despite the title...and what do they mean "combat" for the second child? Must they be dramatic? Or is there some reason it's a fight? Hmm.

It doesn't say anything about it, the interview was taken before she announced she's pregnant I think. It does say she was trying to get pregnant and took 18 months off to do so.

Also, she talks about Rene. She says that for his birthday this year she got him a personal trainer, because she wants to see him playing with the kids for a long time to come. They were both scared by his blocked artery for which he had surgery right after the tour ended. He also lost 15 kilograms since then and the reporter says he looked slender when the interview happened. Also, she says Celine looked great and tanned.

Celine also says that about 3 years into her their stay in Vegas, it was like a nightmare for her. She says Rene was gaming all the time, he was never home, she barely got to see him and even then he was mostly asleep already, that she was working really hard and that she had to be both mom and dad for Rene-Charles and she was very unhappy. She says it was Robin, her good and only friend, from Florida, who helped her a lot. Apparently, Robin told her to not just lay down and take it, but to confrunt Rene about it. So she did, she talked to Rene, she told him she needs him to be home with them, she needs him to listen to her when she's having a bad etc. And they worked things out. Now, Rene gave up roulette, black jack etc, and he's only playing poker every now and then and he has a special fund for gaming, so as not to affect the family finances.

She says that she'll do less and less from now on, careerwise, and that Rene will have to fire some people because of that, which is very difficult.

I just assumed the interview was after they found out she was pregnant, since they talked about RC being at school....but they also said they interviewed her in Montreal, and I think they've been in Florida since he started? Hmm. Strange.

Why would Rene have to fire people? Since she's not working right now, most of their staff wouldn't be currently employed by them anyway? If anything, wouldn't they be re-hired when she does whatever she's going to do next in her career?

I guess the interview was in Montreal, and they might have called her after she announced she's pregnant for some extra info.

About firing people: The way Celine said it, she's going to do less in her career even after she comes back from her 18 months off. So, no matter what, they have to fire people because they're too many for their plans after those 18 months. We'll wait and see. I mean, who could've guest Celine would want to do a World Tour after Vegas, right? She may change her mind. On the other hand, with RC in school and a new baby, I doubt we'll see any bit tour anytime soon. But I don't mind, I want her to be happy. As long as she's releasing albums and does a few shows every now and then, so I can see her live every other year or so, I'll be happy too.

It's a group of "five" kids :yes: that works together and help each other but they call themselves "The Tigers". Yes you're right RC really seems to love his school, René says because he's always afraid of being late they leave around 7:15 a.m.... as a result they're always there before 7:45 a.m. :giggle: When you ask RC how he finds school he replies : "Incroyable!!"

Yes, they do. It says it's school regulation. Celine says she thinks RC was using his hair to hide behind it, because of everything that's going on around him, all the media etc... Also, she says that everytime she tells him they need to go by car someplace, he thinks there's going to be a frenzy, lots of people and media. Also, he thinks staying at home means staying in their pyjamas all day long, because that's what they did until now, so he was surprised when Celine asked him to get changed, even though they were going to remain at home :sofunny:

thanks for the pictures i'm reading the article. the part where she talks about vegas how she was feeling really bad physically she was exhausted and she felt she was losing Rene in the casinos , she barely saw him anymore and then Robin (her friend from Florida) gave her some advise. She told Celine she had to talk about it with Rene . Celine says it was the first time she was talking like that (a complaining person) and that helped a lot. But for the looks of it...and how it sounds it really made me doubt they could be thinking about going back to Vegas ...that's just my 2 cents...you read the article and get your own opinion

It's not. This was in Berlin for the father's day. Celine and RC made a surprise to René by renting a boat to have a party on it and doing Berlin by night.
