Confirmed: Celine is pregnant!

I second May 5, 2010! Just because it's the number 5. I suspect it'll be a little earlier than that though...

Remember Rene-Charles was delivered by C-section. Usually when one is born that way, subcequent deliveries are done the same way so Celine can pick the date 5/5/2010 The ten divided by two is 5 so it would be: 5/5/5-5 one five for each of them; cool huh!!!

But was that C-section planned? I remember reading a long time ago that she was in labour for something like 18 hours before the doctors decided to do the C-section. Anybody knows if it is true?

I think she'll deliver sometime in April, May is a bit late, it would already be the 10th month.

Me neither... and somehow I just can't picture Celine doing the whole natural birth thing... But I guess she will probably handle it well considering that she is very strong, disciplined and focussed.

It's got to do something with the whole birthing experience and it is not true that a C-section doesn't hurt, it does a lot afterwards - anyway it's not naturall!

I too hope that it'll be a girl! It would be amazing to see her with a girl, and to see if she would look a lot like Céline! But a boy or girl, the most important is that the baby is healthy. This is all so exciting, I can't wait to see photos of her tummy getting bigger!
I know, I can't wait for pics... Can anyone remember the picture im looking for, its a pic of Celine and her cousin or some family member, she's wearing a black dress and you can clearly see her tummy, and then someone commented on it in another topic saying pregnancy really suits her... I can't seem to find the picture but its a very nice one... As for photos, I bet she'll look great!

I think the picture you are referring too was when Celine and Rene were to his daughter Ann-Marie's wedding. Celine wore black, had a different hair do and even wrote a song for Ann-Marie telling her how she wishes that Ann-Marie gets to experience the joy she is enjoying being pregnant and being loved as much as Rene loves her. this was back in 2000.

Those are the pic's. She looked terrific!!!! And for those who didn't know yet: The song she performed that evening for Ann-Marie was later recored by their husband Marc Dupre as "Tout pres du bonheur" (

). Unfortunately the video of Celine singing the wedding version can't be found anymore on YouTube ... anyone here who knows where I can listen to that version again?

I wouldn't say that. Although a natural birth hurts more at the moment, it takes way longer to recover from a C-section.

I can't wait for the baby to be born :whee:

c section DOES leave a visible scar and i dont know how you can say something like you dont even see it on Celine at all. LOL, its not like your intimately involved with her at such close ranges. :innocent:

and moreover, if you see any pics revealing her belly they are retouched for sure if a scar was showing. :whistling:

In some of the pictures of her being on vacation where she is wearing a bikini, if you look about half way down from her bellybutton and the top of the bikini bottom you can see a very light scar. Because Celine is so physically fit and probably used some of the scar fading lotions after the delivery, it would not be readily visable.

I think I remember Celine once saying she planned to have a natural birth because her Mother had all natural deliveries of her and her siblings? It was like 8 years ago, so maybe someone else remembers more clearly?

Anyway. She might not have a choice this time...sometimes women can't have natural deliveries after they've had a c-section, so it'll probably be up to her Doctor to decide whether it's safe or not. :hmm:

She looked so incredibly beautiful when she was pregnant last time around - it suited her down to the ground! And I totally love her hair in those photos - thanks for posting!

How about everyone who wants to participate sends a piece of fabric (cotton, non-elastic), maybe 5x5" to [someone who can sew] who makes a quilt of it, and a plain backside with perhaps a white on white embroidered test from cdf? I'd be more than willing to put it together :flowers:

Celine buys cashmere and silk outfits for the softness against the skin (she did this for RC and I can't see her changing for this one) but either way count me in!!!! :wub: :bananadance: :baby: :baby: :clap: :clapping:

maybe if we had a standard size template to go by when making our square, that way it would be uniform. I have never made a quilt or blanket so I don't know what size, probably pretty small if we want a lot of different squares :shrug:

I like the Cf2 bit, too

I don't think we should make different colors as well should all be either one color or two. maybe like blue or white, not some off the the wall colors and not to big, you want the little baby to sleep on it.
