fyoung98 Posted June 25, 2009 at 11:12 PM Posted June 25, 2009 at 11:12 PM I know Celine was a fan of Michael Jackson. I'm wondering if she will offer comments as to his "passing". Of course, it is just a wait and see kind of thing, but I'm still curious. VintageCeline Posted June 25, 2009 at 11:14 PM Posted June 25, 2009 at 11:14 PM (edited) It is so unbelievably sad, but of course she will. It will probably on CD.COM but I think she will. She has sad many times how he influenced her career and don't forget they worked together on 'What more can I give'. So SO sad! :( Edited June 25, 2009 at 11:30 PM by VintageCeline Quote http://24.media.tumblr.com/94198518f8a09aef1d336d6fde8fc8b3/tumblr_mkdcezs36X1r7lwiso1_400.jpg
Nando Férri Posted June 25, 2009 at 11:18 PM Posted June 25, 2009 at 11:18 PM Of course she will. She was a huge fan of him. And write what I'm sayin: They will make a tribute show for him, and she will be there. Quote http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m4ejungtQy1r9swpco6_250.gif

MTJ Posted June 25, 2009 at 11:20 PM Posted June 25, 2009 at 11:20 PM I think we can expect a lot of media and reactions to come from his passing. I expect we will see more from Celine than just a short text. John Lennon, Elvis, Michael Jackson -- they're the same category. This isn't going to be a small ordeal... Quote
angelil78 Posted June 25, 2009 at 11:20 PM Posted June 25, 2009 at 11:20 PM She will! Definetly! She´s been a fan since she was a teenager so yes definetly Quote

Lou555 Posted June 26, 2009 at 12:10 AM Posted June 26, 2009 at 12:10 AM (edited) Céline learned about this sad news about half and hour ago(when I began writting this sometime ago now) because Larry King called her from L.A. apparently to announce this news. She just commented about this five minutes ago live on the phone on Québec's TVA and LCN. She is still shocked by this! She spoke for about 10 minutes to the journalist. She's shocked, she was a fan at a very early age and she dreamed of being in showbusiness partly cuz of him and dreamed maybe to be able to meet him someday. She had posters of Michael Jackson on her walls when she was young. She saw him one time at Olympic Stadium in Montréal.She did meet him some day(they showed Céline singing in front of Michael on World music awards in the '90's. on one of those occasion). In more recent years he went to see Céline's show in Las Vegas apparently. He went to her dressing room, they talked for sometime about many things including about how it was to do a show in the desert, to do it five days a week and those kind of things he wanted to know from her. Céilne thinks he must have been living tremendous pressure especially these days for his upcoming shows in Londres. To meet with his fans again....She was planning to go....Answering questions about that, she said she feels he never had the chance to live a normal life really, he was bigger then himself.(don't know how to say it better, sorry for my english here). She has an autograph fédora(hat) Michael Jackson gave her.She says she's devastated and that it is such a immense pressure...so immense that maybe it was to much....she was very upset saying that. She was asked to speak about that great pressure that comes with superstardom that she must know about that. She explains about that pressure she's experienced like others do too, not just her and said it was very big(that pressure) but that she had been vey very lucky to be surrounded by her family always, to have a lot of support, to have a love life that was steady and strong and that this emotional stability was her biggest success for her. She doesn't think he had a normal life ever. Anyway that's part of what she said. She was getting emotionnal on some sentences and she said that Michael Jackson will never die. I translated the best I can. I hope it make sense and that I didn't make to many mistakes translating Céline's thought and statements. I thought you guys would like to know. I guess she will eventually comment on Larry King I would think. She didn't say but I would think it's the place to watch for any other Céline comments. Edit : Céline is on again(on tape) on LCN! They will replay this again and again I think. Edited June 26, 2009 at 12:51 AM by Lou555 Quote
