In an article on La Presse Canadiene, Jean Lapointe says Celine recorded her part of the song in a bathroom, in Cleveland. "Rene called me after her triumph in Kansas City. He told me: 'OK, we're going to do it in Cleveland'. Apparently, she recorded it in a bathroom. It's incredible how it turned out", said Lapointe.

 

He says he and his wife cried after listening to Celine's recording for the first time. "What Celine does always moved me, and now, as a plus, she was singing one of my songs, and she sang it divinely", he said.

A duet version of Celine's "L'amour existe encore" is featured on Eric Lapointe's latest album called 'Ailleurs - Volume 1.' This special duet was recorded during the 'Céline sur les Plaines' concert last summer and remixed for the purposes of this album, which is now available in stores across Quebec.

well i decided to create an itune account and after so much hassle i was able to do it! i bought the song and... it was disappointing to me! maybe it is just because of the first listen or maybe because oh how much hype there was about it. celine's voice is beautiful, but nothing divine as had been mentioned. she has done much much better

It's another different song... Kinda like Miracle.... it would be far better with Celine's voice only:)
