A cold is nothing! Everyone was replying to the post on Perez Hilton about her being sick and canceling shows which included the press release saying 'The world must stop, Celine Dion has a cold' as it made it sound like she was canceling shows just for a cold! That is without a doubt a throat infection! She sounds awful! If you have an infection like that in your throat, it comes partnered with a high fever and thus banging headache (which is why in the video she keeps putting her hand on her forehead) - just the common symptoms of a throat infection, so basically she must have felt like s*** poor thing and I do think they could have described it better. Someone should send that youtube link to Perez Hilton. I do think if people saw that footage they would have a new found respect for her, she is such a trooper! People would also realize it takes a lot for her to cancel a show, and any shows cancelled were for good reason. TOTALY AGREE WITH YOU I think that everyone in the lifetime have a throat infection!... and its not very nice... FEELs SOOOOOO BAD!... you feels like a "cloth squeezed" so can you think hows she feels that day?...poor dear... Uhu, that's sooo true! I'm having a throat infection myself right now.. and i can tell you.. it isn't fun! I'm so proud of Céline... ! She does it, she goes on stage and performes... when we as 'normal people' don't leave our beds and stay home with the lights out (because of the headache). In fact.. it's a miracle that she can sing like that... I can't make a sound right now! It must have been awful for her .. So it doesn't matter if THIS was the Phoenix show or not, she has sung there that night, and she has been there for us that night, although she was -clearly- sick... that's all that matters! I can't wait to watch the whole show. I felt she should have taken this break after she was done in Vegas. When she was doing her interviews about her upcoming tour for Taking Chances, she seemed so down. I think she got a boost once she started the tour and showing her son the world, but now all of that is over. She can finally breathe! I hope she does nothing but relax, spend some quality time with her family and has a baby (girl!). I also think that if she does have a baby, she should wait to "come back". She regretted having made a commitment with Ceasar's (even though it turned out ok) when RC was so young. I think whatever she choses to do, it should be one or two shows at a time. But considering the fact that over the years the judges have continually told/warned contestants to stay away from singing Celine songs because of the difficulty and artistry levels it doesn't seem like they would contradict themselves and have her on guiding the singers.. Pretty ironic isn't it,... to have people consider your talent so high that others are persuaded to stay away from singing your songs..... He got his shirt and jacket but when he got up he was in bathing suit haha !!! And he said that for the last week he's gonna be there live so on monday 13th april he's gonna be in the studio for the finally. And I just learned that René invited the two finalist to his home in Florida so the two get a plane to get there yesterday night and they slept there, get some breakfast with René and they supposed to play golf with him. Do we gonna see Celine ??? I don't know I just hope that yes. But WOW !!!! Wish I was there that is soooo coool.
