But I can't hear JJG too :S I think I'm getting old and deaf it's true! you can see it with the recording sessions. QueenCeline Posted February 8, 2009 at 03:20 AM Posted February 8, 2009 at 03:20 AM I am just listening to I've Got Nothing Left, LOUD, and with my headphones in my computer. Before she sings, for the first few seconds of the song, there is noise in the backgroud. I have never heard it until now, and it is LOUD LOUD. So, is this supposed to be there? It sounds like someone walking, or possibly banging something. Quote Marc~~~~~~~~Taking Chances World TourSeptember 29, 2008December 16, 2008

Shamrock_1982 Posted February 8, 2009 at 07:16 PM Posted February 8, 2009 at 07:16 PM I loveeee the song but.... the sudden feel/pitch change in ''Surprise Surprise'' towards the start ( as she finishs her line, before going into the line ''its never the right time'' ) really annoys me, it makes me think that after all the complaining etc, to Celine.....That Kara is actually not as good as she'd like to think at ''producing'' and maybe she needs a bit of coaching when it comes to producing, as this sticks out like a sore thumb, and it had nothing to do with Celine!!! CelineRules! OMD! I thought it was just me! I don't hear him when I'm playing the song on my systems, I can only hear him when I use my headphones.. Especially in the part "J'ai planté des tulipes elles tardent à éclore" you can hear him very clearly Quote

Belle Céline Posted June 20, 2009 at 07:25 PM Posted June 20, 2009 at 07:25 PM I still don't hear any ding noise in New Dawn....I did hear the counting in TJTWIM but I had to turn the volume up really really loud to hear it, I never realize the counting was there til just now when I read this topic.... Thomas Posted June 21, 2009 at 11:13 AM Posted June 21, 2009 at 11:13 AM Yep, or rather why she tries to sing "say yeah" but instead sounds like a cat stepping on a cactus. It sounds so weak! Kinda like the "insiiiiiiiiide" note from IDAN. They really should have re-worked these notes, she could have done them so much better. Quote

MTJ Posted June 22, 2009 at 06:09 AM Posted June 22, 2009 at 06:09 AM (edited) She's saying "on that" not "on me." If you wanna hear undecipherable lyrics, listen to Surprise, Surprise. Edited June 22, 2009 at 06:11 AM by imgoingtobiteyoure_face Quote
Bumble Posted June 22, 2009 at 08:19 AM Posted June 22, 2009 at 08:19 AM It was an interview or something, and she said (or one of the producers, I can't remember exactly), that she wanted the song to sound "live", as if she was singing it in a club. That's why they put the counting there. You know, before they start playing, the drumer would usualy count like that. It no mistake, it just made to sound live on stage. EXACTLY! ok so this is for anybody who believes that the "eehh" or the extra "bet" before "better keep" in Eyes on Me was an error. she even performed that line live. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ej4wG0izzy8 so clearly, it was intentional. it's a part of the song and not a mistake at all. You do realize she's never sung it live? Has Celine ever made a mistake with her work? Come on! Yep, just listen to the song "Je chanterai", from the sisda album. In the making of, you hear JJG telling her she does a mistake in the lyrics, "Et ça m'aide tant de vivre", which doesn't make sense...Yet, that's what they kept in the studio recording. About the new dawn ding sound, it's here on purpose. It's give a dreamy atmosphere to the song. Quote W T H W T H W T H W T H W T H W T H W T H W T H W T H W T H W T H W T H W T H W T H W T H W T H
