There's no mistake on my CD.

 

I heard the "One, two" the first time... Never realized before.

 

there is something with TC though, in the first seconds, when you play the sound really loud, you hear like either a little laugh (celine?) or a stretching of some kind (drums or something?)

 

I can't here anything, just a noise like a motorbike or a car.

i always believe that in a recording studio, everything MUST be perfect. errors in the booklet are not unusual, but in a studio recorded song, it's quite impossible because Celine works with possibly the best people in the music business and she won't go for cheap mastering and unfinished/unpolished recording. it is what it is. if it sounds like that, its because it's supposed to sound like that. simply.

a great version of DUAM is available on Au coeur du stade CD JJ is great, but IMO in concert his tracks really start to live!

 

btw I can't believe people never really noticed the 1,2,3 in TJTWIM, I heard it from the start!

Same i heard from the very beginning and always thought it was supposed to be there. I quite like, gives it a relaxed live feel.

The real recording mistake in this album is in "New Dawn", at 1:12 you can hear a ding-dong sound from the right channel only. It annoys me to hell every time I listen to it. Now I expect to hear it every time that track starts.

 

I agree, that mistake is so annoying, and so noticeable. That can't be a real 'effect' or anything that's supposed to be there. TJTWIM was supposed to have the counting on the beginning, and it's very cool too, I think it brings a whole old style to the song which suits it perfectly.

I always imagine when I heard that song, that's alive and that Céline & band is in a jazz club, and the 1, 2 is just part of that performance, I love it that way, & that song is jazzie for me.

Yes, I heard that too. I've listened EOM a thousand times, but i heard it when I read it here. Well, it sounds a little weird, but I think it's not so impossible to be sang...

And about the TC counting, I heard it from the first time too. And every time this song starts, I'm screaming counting with it Even when I'm on the street with the player

And this is at a weird timing, in the right channel only. I don't think it was supposed to be like that.

at many songs from other singers not only celine's something similar happens.some guitar or bell sounds can be heard from the right channel or the opposite...it's not a mistake.it's something that they do just to give something more to the song...But sometimes yeah it's irritating...

Who has Platinum Weird's version of Taking Chances (song) sung by Kara DioGuardi??

 

If you compare the very beginning of the song before the guitar comes in it's very 'clean' sound, Celine's version sounds like there is some kind of radio interference!!

 

Unfortunately due to the heavily compressed nature of Celine's music there are tonnes of examples of sonic irregularity.

At 2:52 in Eyes On Me, she actually says, "better keep MY eyes on me" hehe. I don't know if that is supposed to be that way, but I highly doubt it because it doesn't make much sense :D
