I think she's fascinating. Celine is my favorite singer of all time but I really like Taylor's Fearless album. You Belong With Me and Best Day are my two favorites on there. I love her Our Song video as well. Her cd, Beautiful Eyes, has I'm ONly Me When I'm With You on it and that's an awesome song as well. I like her. Way better than Carrie Underwood I think. Carrie's gotten stuck up since she got famous.

i love Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift equally. vocally, Carrie is still million miles better than Taylor, but Taylor's songwriting prowess is outstanding (co-writing almost all her songs since 16). there's a reason why her albums are selling like hotcakes. she's beautiful, she's talented, she's down to earth, and best of all, she looks up to Celine.

Love Taylor Swift, there's just something about how she has dedicated herself to making her music since she was a child and something about her personality, as you can see in her own homemade videos in which she shares who she is that shows an exceptional person and talent. as for her voice, it may not be the strongest but when she forgets performing in front of thousands and just opens up her soul for the music to come through, it means much more than someone like Carrie belting out tunes and lyrics written by some factory writer in nashville. Just my opinion of course, sometimes I do enjoy listening to power singers including Carrie, but it just bugs me when all her fans go on TS fan sites and you-tube and continually try to run down Taylor for things they perceive as her weaknesses.

I love Taylor Swift! I love how creative she is and she's just adorable, too. The Love Story video was shot at one of my favorite places in Nashville, Castle Gwynn, just down the road from me. It is so beautiful and I love seeing it showcased in the video. The guy who built it just always wanted to have a castle of his own, and he and his wife live in one of the towers. The TN Renaissance Festival is this month (every weekend in May) and it's on the castle grounds. So much fun!

Taylor makes dreams come true with the help of Oprah

 

Taylor's done just about everything there is to do for someone who's just 19, but there was one thing that's been glaringly absent.

 

Oprah.

 

Yes, the teen queen is about to meet the queen of the talk show. But it's not just any episode Taylor will grace. She will visit Oprah for her "Finale: Oprah's Search for the World's Most Talented Kids” episode where Taylor will be helping little artists' dreams come true. Not sure what dreams those will be but I have a strong feeling it probably has to do with singing.

 

That would be my superior powers of observation and deduction at work there.

 

The episode will air Monday, May 18.

I like a few Taylor Swift songs. I already heard "Teardrops On My Guitar" a few times and thought it was kind of nice. When saw the "Love Story" video I thought it was nice too. The videos are awesome!

 

As soon as I saw Crossroads with my favorite band Def Leppard, Love Story was in My Head for weeks and it has become really big! The duet was awesome!

 

Taylor is beautiful and she is talented as a writer and musician, but just an okay singer.

I think the "Should've Said No" live music video is horrible. It sounds like she is gasping for

air and taking breaths too soon when singing that and a bit flat. That is her main problem.

I still like that song though. I have sampled clips of other songs

and so far I also like White Horse, Breathe, Invisible, and A Place In This World.

I also just watched the cute video for "You Belong With Me," so that's a good one too.

 

I'll stick with listening to songs I know, but wouldn't buy the albums, because I'm not into a lot of country

just a few random country songs here and there that I download.

I do own the Shania Twain Come On Over cd though, and that is a country

music lover's essential it sold double digits in the milions.

 

Talor seems to be a well rounded person fun, caring, sweet, outgoing, humble, laid back, and

just a great girl and a role model.

 

Bottom line Taylor should work on her breathing and be a little more in tune. Other than that she is great.
