Looking gorgeous as always but I once again have to say that her voice is absolutely nothing to write home about. On literally every song on the new album, even on the relatively simpler pieces like Nothing But Love, her voice cracks badly at LEAST once.

 

Here's the hope Celine will give Whitney some voice training lessons cuzz frankly Whitney sounds rather like Whitney's long lost cousin singing in various cross country karaoke bars than the real deal Whitney Houston.

Just listened to Whitney's new single - I am so glad she is back, dont get me wrong, but it is so sad about her voice - it is a shadow of her former voice. I know many people might say it is disappearing with age but take Celine's voice for example; ok, so she may have lost a bit of her top range over the last few years, but we know that her singing hasnt been her number 1 priority - she has a family now. But I would argue that Celine's voice has got so much richer over the last 10 years or so, compared to the 1990s and she has lost very few of her vocal techniques and acrobatics, whereas Whitney seems to have lost both power and range to her voice, making it sound distinctly average. In no way am I bashing Whitney, I love her and I have so much respect for how she has dealt with the stuff that life has thrown at her over the years (admitedly she has made some mistakes but who doesnt?) I am just so sad that "the voice", the Whitney that we knew seems to have disappeared.

of course Whitney does not sound like 20 years ago , but who does? i believe Celine also does not sound liked she used to sound, but Celine in better vocal shape than other 2 big ones, Whitney and Mariah.

 

as for me regading Whitney , everything normal for me, she just dissapeared from singing about 7 years, during that time she became older , incld her voice , maybe if she was singing active during that time then probably everything could be normal for us, and of course drugs also did their job for "The Voice", all things could be better.

 

but one more time , im pleased with current Whitney result on this CD.

they say cause there's no MV yet, and actually whitney is the first singer to release album without a MV lol

and for Taiwan fan they will also include 5track remix (probably a bonus disc)
