Sounds good! I like Call You Tonight even though it's very Ne-Yo-ish. But the song that I'm really looking forward to is ''Nothin' But Love''

What a beautiful picture. Much better than the albums and singers. And I agree with Nikola, the album is not totally amazing, but much, much better than expected.

album really great

There are a few great songs, but i don't see as a hit album. The album as a similar sound like "Just Whitney"

They are choosing the wrong singles.

in 11 I can pick up 5\6 great songs

I Got You - 8\10

Salute 10\10

Nothin' But Love 8\10

I Didn't Know My Own Strength - 10\10

I Look To You 10\10

Like I Never Left - 9\10

Whitney co-wrote 2 songs for the album

http://www.billboard.com/#/news/whitney-ho...004005815.story

Finally, the moment is almost here: the release of Whitney Houston's long-anticipated new studio album after a seven-year break. "I Look to You" (Arista/RCA Music Group) will arrive in stores Aug. 31.

1. "Million Dollar Bill" (3:24)

Opening the proceedings is this club jam that practically screams remix. Produced by Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz, it's accented by a catchy hook on which Houston emphatically notes, "If he makes you feel like a million dollar bill, say it." The song contains a sample from "We're Getting Stronger" as performed by Loleatta Holloway.

2. "Nothin' But Love" (3:35)

Behind the production helm are uptempo specialists Fernando Garibay and Nate "Danja" Hills. Houston proclaims that after everything she's been through, she has nothin' but love for family, teachers and "anyone who tried to hate on me/ Even the ones who tried to break me take me down."

3. "Call You Tonight" (4:09)

This is a lilting mid-tempo tune about love, a cornerstone subject in Houston's storied career. Her assured, distinctive vocals are front and center on this Stargate production.

4. "I Look to You" (4:26)

The first single and title track is one of two R. Kelly compositions on the album. It's a simple, inspirational ballad that comes closest to Houston's iconic "I Will Always Love You"; co-produced by Tricky Stewart and Harvey Mason Jr.

5. "Like I Never Left" featuring Akon (3:49)

Akon produced this easygoing, mid-tempo groove about reconciling lovers. His musical tenor is the perfect complement to Houston's resonating, gospel-honed voice. She also co-wrote the song.

6. "A Song for You" (4:11)

The album's only cover is a classic penned by Leon Russell and recorded by a number of artists, most notably Donny Hathaway. Houston puts her own stamp on the track, starting slow and then revving up the tempo. Remindful of Houston's 1993 cover of "I'm Every Woman," this is another Stargate-produced track.

7. "I Didn't Know My Own Strength" (3:40)

It wouldn't be a Whitney Houston album without at least a couple of ballads. This dramatic anthem -- heavy on the piano, drums and synths -- was penned by Diane Warren and produced by David Foster.

8. "Worth It" (4:39)

An understated but still sassy and saucy Houston goes to work on this mid-tempo song about knowing when love is worth it. She sings, "This is for the lovers just getting on their feet; for the lovers 20 years deep." It's produced by Eric Hudson (Kanye West, Ne-Yo, Mary J. Blige).

9. "For the Lovers" (4:13)

Houston ratchets up the beat on this outing, whose contemporary, infectious rhythms signal another potential club and/or top 40 single. Nate "Danja" Hills produced.

10. "I Got You" (4:12)

With its atmospheric backdrop, this cut is a heart-felt declaration about the never-fading chemistry between two former romantic partners. Akon steps back in as producer on this mid-tempo selection, also co-written by Houston.

11. "Salute" (4:10)

Minimal accompaniment -- keyboard, drums and guitar -- provides the backdrop on the second of R. Kelly's contributions. With conviction in her voice, Houston is ready to shed no more tears as she salutes a departing lover. You can fill in the blank.

for me potential hits

Million Dollar Bill

Call You Tonight

A Song For You (weird that nobody of you did not mention great Whitney job on this song)

I Got You

For The Lovers

this is my singles choice

i found a link too; webrip; heard "Nothin' but love" ...its the BOMB!!! worth the wait!!!! i really liked "Call You Tonight" too; it had this instrument playing in the background that made it sound a bit country-ish ...beautiful!!! i liked them when i heard the snippet; both songs lived up to my expectations!!!

im starting to like "I Look To You" ; ie. if i ignore the use of auto-tuning; for me, there's nothing like "Hit" written on it. but the song is very inspiring and not over-the-top

"Salute" is good [although i couldnt take her seriously when she sang the line "dont call it a come-back..."

did i hear her crack in "I Didn't Know My Own Strength" [around 2:11]?

her interpretation of "A Song For You" didnt appeal to me much ...like not at all; the last thing i expected her to do with the song was make it sound like "I'm Every Woman"/"I Will Survive" part II

i still dont care for "Million Dollar Bill". most of the songs are forgettable. Clive/Whitney's been working on this albm for almost 3 yrs ...and only 11 tracks??? thats a bit lame; but still, i think im gonna buy this albm just for the sake of "Nothin' but love" & "Call You Tonight" .

Whitney Miley Wallmart drama

Wal-Mart Swaps Whitney For Miley!

Filed under: Music Minute > Miley Cyrus > Whitney Houston

Is Wal-Mart trying to sabotage Whitney Houston's record sales????

Don't mess with a diva!

We've just learned that Wal-Mart will not be selling Whitney's new album, I Look To You, in their retail locations!

The album, which comes out the first week of September, will only be for sale through Wal-Mart's online store, according to several Whitney fansites.

Coincidentally enough, Miley Cyrus's upcoming EP, The Time Of Our Lives, has a competing release date with Houston's I Look To You, and will be exclusively for sale at Wal-Mart!

Trying to knock out the competition????

How sleazy!!

Whitney on the set for 'Million Dollar Bill' video!

Whitney Houston really is back!

She looks SO chic on the set of her new music video, Million Dollar Bill, on Monday.

LOVE that dress on her! And the peep toe boots!

Looking good, lady!

Looking gorgeous as always but I once again have to say that her voice is absolutely nothing to write home about. On literally every song on the new album, even on the relatively simpler pieces like Nothing But Love, her voice cracks badly at LEAST once.

Here's the hope Celine will give Whitney some voice training lessons cuzz frankly Whitney sounds rather like Whitney's long lost cousin singing in various cross country karaoke bars than the real deal Whitney Houston.
