New German re-release of LTAL, out on 21st March 2014. Judging by the title on Amazon, I think it's part of a series called "Alben Für Die Ewigkeit", (meaning "Albums for Eternity"):

I just got a question for the collectors here. I got a version of LMBTL from a fellow collector, and we both have no idea from where this release could be from.

All suggests it is from the EU, but then there are some rarities that I can't place for an EU release. First the disc itself is completely white, there is a extra 9 at the end of the barcode. The catalog nr however is the same. Could it be we are dealing with a misprint of fake release, or could it be that this release is made for eastern Europe only? Below you can find some photos of this (for us) mystery release.

I do not know what your problem is, the disc is from Poland as it is written .I do not know why it is white -maybe reissue?

Well like I said before, i don't know where tihs one is coming from. It's distributed by Sony Poland, but so is the regular EU version. Just for comparison I add the pictures of the EU version i already have with the new version I don't know where it is from so you can see what I'm talking about.

As you can see the disc of the unknown edition is white, and the catalog nr does not end on 2 but on 9. It could be a re release but don't you think that is odd, since it is just released, and the only just resently did a re-release for Taking Chances.

i think it is the american/ canada or the european one. these two releases has the same catalog number.

I don't think it is the Canadian version, both versions are distribute by Sony Poland. Wouldn't make sense to release a cd distribute by Sony Poland in Canada.

That's a fake Yentl. A good friend sent me a copy.

 

The quality of the booklet is not as good as the original, the text has a certain blur to it and the front cover is missing some of the border. The inside pages are all different from the original and do not include any of the credits and have incorrect lyrics (Just look at Thankful) . Also everything has a slight green shade to it. There should be a 9 on your spine, but it looks like it got cut off during the printing process, mine ends in 9 on both sides. The inner picture behind the CD has been changed, it now shows a flower in Celine's hand that is not on the original albums photo. (This photo is also added to the inside of the booklet as well as a repeat of the back photo and a full screen version of the one with Celine closing her eyes. ) And finally, when you listen to the CD, Incredible is track 2, Somebody Loves Somebody is track 3 (both mixed up)

 

However, it's still nice to have if you don't have any expectations. But totally worthless.

I've got a question... I just received my copies of the promo CDs for "Water and a Flame" and "Loved Me Back To Life", and normally I'd be peeing myself with excitement, but something seems a bit off about them. And I really, really, REALLY need someone to reassure me they're not fake. I've never seen a promo single whose paper sleeve simply folds over the disc - is that how these singles are supposed to be?

 

I took some pics, but they all exceed the 1000K file size limit, so I'm unable to upload them.

im sure they are fine - thats how the new uk promos come now folded paper, the way to be pretty sure they're real is if they have perforated edges....as they're all mass produced on sheets and torn off to be inserted, so if they dont have perf marks they could be fake.

The folded look looks cheap and absolutely horrible! I'll have a look to see if they edges are perforated when I get home - hopefully they are. Thanks!

Just need your opinion on this. A friend of my wants to buy this one, but everything in me says it is fake. The advertiser says it is the real deal, but I am just not so sure. Is there anyone from or in China who can confirm? If it is the real deal, more info would be appreciated

It was discontinued after the tenth release. We don't know the real reason, but we think it's because of the disappointing sales

It's too bad they didn't make the other 10 releases available online, because I am sure that they all or at least most of them, were already printed

How does everyone store their collections? I'm thinking of moving my collection into my room because right now, it's on a CD rack in the living room getting a lot of exposure from the sun. I would like if they could be put in a small bookshelf-like structure. Any suggestions?

This is how I display my collection, it's situated in a part of my flat where the sun doesn't really hit it. And I just love the little shelve I found at IKEA to have my collection in and on.

There is a big box set for each of her early albums featuring an LP, 2CDs with the original album plus official remixes/alternate versions, and a DVD of all the music videos from the album plus bonus footage! There is also a cheaper version available for each album without the LP.

We need this for the earlier French albums that still have yet to be released on CD. It'd be great to reissue the original albums and make them available on CD for the first time. They should also add live performances from TV and the earlier tours (1985 and Incognito) for DVDs.
