Sorry but celine collector s are changing the hobby of the collection in a MAFIA! You can do this you can t. Do that. In the net There are a lot of guides.if new generations dont look at them before buy is not our problem And Please stop creating the lobby of the collectors. One person can buy Whatever he want s and do what he want with the stuff that has Paied. For the rest i have only to tell that if Someone has the time to criticate fans with their collection Maybe can find the time also to shut up and think at himself and not to the collections of other people.

And please stop to annoy other collectiors. We have something batter to do that explain to you our collection.

Yentl go on with your collection that we Will go on with ours as we like and we don t need your permissions.

EXUSE ME a stalker? A stalker of what? Not a stalker on Celine? And let me tell you, I and my friends have a lot of knowledge about Celine releases. It is just odd the me I never seen those before enywhere not even during my visits to Canada and the States. I also think it is rude to offend me like this. I did nothing wrong and only placed a post of me doubting the pictures you posted. Just like J-Man did. But yeah I think I'm a stalker, but from people who tell lies, and one shall not tell lies.

@Debora, I only want to say it is not fair that people by for a lot of money and found out they had bought a CD or 7" with a fake cover. ebay has the so called buyers protections. And also I think that a Fake Asia release should be notified to as so. I saw a lot of fake Asia releases on the fair. For example a 2disc One Heart with on C D 2 Tling Twic and Bcause Yu Luv Me etc. a,l writing Errors those are easy to spot, but the Ultimate Collection so to say is hard to spot if you got the real or fake one. If you guys keep posting fake covers and not genuine releases it will just confuse collectors. This wouldn't be fair since you know where to find the info but lot of new fans don't. And I don't lobby with the collectors they are just here and place a reaction on my post like you do. It just happen to be that J-man Davey and I know an awful lot about the releases.

2) Everyone can post his own collection, but respect the work of others who have helped the community in cataloging collector's items.

This has been a very confusing few comments to read through due to obvious language barriers, but I must say that it is a bit ironic that you would accuse Suzanne of defamation considering some of the comments that you have made to and about people in the forum lately Debora. Up until now you seemed to be on a one woman crusade to rid the world of Celine Dion fakes. Now you appear to be saying that people can post dubious items if they wish.

 

I still must stand by my own statement that despite what others may believe, these covers are not legitimate, they are either fan made or elaborate fakes, I haven't seen them in person of course, but I know enough about Celines discography to know that.

 

The idea that 1 of these could be genuine and Davids possession could at least be plausible (if still suspicious) but for him to have several unseen covers for releases that have always only been seen without sleeves, that is sadly totally implausible.

 

Even putting knowledge of the subject matter aside, common sense dictates that these cannot be genuine. Furthermore unless they were all bought from one original source then they most probably have been created by the current owner for whatever reason.

I have no issue with you as a collector and fan David, tou seem to otherwise have amassed a very lovely collection and good luck to you. But it would be remiss of me im my position as a fellow collector to not set the record straight on this particular issue. You are misleading others about what is genuine and by doing so also degrading the genuine value of the items as they actually were released. It may be that you do not intend to, but you are none the less.

 

Of course people need to make their own minds up and decide for themselves who is right or wrong in the situation, but this is my opinion.

J'en ai plus rien a faire, je sais ce que j'ai et ceux qui sont pas content bah c'est pareil....dites ceux que vous voulez, ca m'empêchera pas de vivre...Y en a qui croient tout savoir et qui aime foutre la merde. C'est ma page facebook et j'y met ce que je veux, ceux qui ne veulent pas voir non qu'à pas si rendre, j'ai des éditions chinoises et je vois pas où est le problème, j'ai fait des coter pour les Promo et 45 RPM sans pochette donc je vois pas où est le problème et qui ca dérange...Suzanne Bruins fait chier la plupart des fans du forum, y a qu'à regarder ses com pour comprendre, il va de toute façon y a avoir du tri dans les fans de Céline qui sont sur ma page, ce site était a l'origine un partage pour faire découvrir mes trouvaille sur Céline mais elle sera accessible désormais qu'a mes vrais amis fan et non plus au monde entier, merci à suzanne bruins qui va privé beaucoup de fans...enfin bref tout ça pour dire que vous faites des histoires là où y a pas lieu d'y en avoir...C'est juste de la jalousie.

Seriously i often have a look at David site, he has so mamy stuff and above all i love the way he displays his collection. But I can't imagine he let himself abused with these fake SP. Tracking rare items is exiting only if they are real, right ? That´s fine if people want to create his own artwork but cannot count as a collector items.

 

Just to take an example to show it´s fake: Dans la main d'un magicien:

 

1. In the 80's in canada promo Sp do not have sleeve., this is true for all singers. Sleeves with nice coloured pictures are expensive and are to push people to buy the item. Waste of money for promos that are given away to media.

 

2. The name Céline on the sleeve is always written with the accent on the e. It´s a common mistake in French to think capital letters do not have accent. Maybe the one who make the cover didn't know the rule. So all LP / Sp of céline released for canada show an accent on the e of Céline. Why there should be an exeption in 1985 for "dans la main d'un magicien"? Of course this changed when she wanted to go international.

 

3. the picture on this sleeve was meant for a magazine, not for use as promotional stuff. I also muss look at my computer but this picture is not from 1985.

ma page ne sert en aucun cas de referenciel, pour la millième fois dans la main d'un magicien est une cover j'en ai marre que ça fasse polemique, c'est ma page et j'y mets absolument ce que je veux, mais parce que j'ai une cover spécial pour ce 45 tours les gens en fond tout une histoire jusqu'a dire que ma collection est fausse.. faut arreter un peu. je collectionne depuis 30 ans maintenant et ça m'a déjà couté une petite voir gros fortune..mon plaisir c'est de partager ce que j'ai sur celine sur ma page. Il y a des tonnes de CD faux qui circule sur le net notamment pour le dernier album, la plupart des singles sont des faux qui viennent d'allemagne et les fans les achètes mais la c'est normale, on les retrouve meme dans le referenciel pourtant le type a fait bien pire puisqu'il a meme inventé le support CD, alors que pour "dans la main d'un magicien c'est quand meme le vrai support. enfin bref, je sais que certains aime faire des histoire pour rien comme cette suzanne qui passe son temps a ça. Please write that in English so everyone can understand David. And I would appreciate not to mention my name anymore. And how can you collect for over 30 years if your year of birth is 1979, you must have been 5 years old when you started collecting Céline, very young if you ask me, and in 1984 she was not yet famous across the borders of Canada. There were just a couple of singles released in France, but a 5-year-old doesn't collect Céline.

Plus the main language in this section is English, so it would be very much appreciated if everybody used this language.

I don't think so. I have the Canadian version and it's the same disc, but this one has "Sony Music" on the back insert at the bottom-left corner. Maybe this version is a version from South America? Their releases usually have the "Sony Music" somewhere on the cover or back insert.

Maybe it is a reissue from Europe. I do see Made In Austria and the LC is 0162, and that's the one they use for Columbia releases all the time

Your welcome, yeah I really thought stacking was good to prevent your vinyls from bending. At least that is what some ppl told me ages ago. I now stored them vertically on the shelves.
