Because sometimes when she talks, some people get annoyed.

Well I thought the performance was great. I loved that she didn't get emotional at the end, it's getting so contrived. I still think this song live is a major snoozefest. She should have performed the radio version on live television. It's just too slow and boring with the acapella intro and slowed down arrangement. I thought her voice was really good though. I didn't think she looked good at all. I didn't like her makeup, it reminded me of that washed out look she had on the A New Day DVD and her hair looked strange. I didn't like her outfit very much either, especially the boots. Overall it was nice, but I just am so sick of hearing this boring song performed. It's not going to impress anyone.

uhh lip sync? no way! you can tell that it sounded different from the rehearsals/tour/the cd etc. I think we are all just assuming Celine lip syncs half the time because it always sounds so perfect. Maybe shes just THAT good lol.

 

 

Oh, has she always had that beauty mark on the left side above her mouth? (right side in the photo) I never noticed it until this photos haha.

I aint had a chance to watch the performance yet, but looking at the caps, she looks amazing!!!!!!!!

Oh my dear.. that video of Jay's intern just made my day.. hahahah THAT was great! Can you imagine? I don't care how much trouble I would have gotten in, I would have been on that stage hugging her! hahah

 

she was beautiful and it was without a doubt live... and NOT lipped. I thought personally that her voice sounded a bit raspy.. Its going to take a little more time to get back to 100%... =( But, none the less, she was absolutely gorgeous!

 

I must say I was PISSED they didn't give her atleast two minutes for an interview.. BAD JOB JAY! c'mon!

although the high note wasn't as powerful, the rest of the performance was SO MUCH MORE CLEAR SOUNDING and less muddled than any of her performances on tour so much!! OMG. it was so good. lately I don't know if it's just the bad sound quality from the tours..but yeah.

Jay Leno has given Celine a lot of support over the years, both on the Tonight Show and also at events like when Celine received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Though Celine wasn't interviewed last night, Jay paid her several high compliments. When he introduced her, he mentioned her 5 Grammys and the fact the she is the all-time best selling female vocalist. And at the end of her performance, he walked over to her and said, "That was wonderful." He said this with real sincerity and appreciation. I thought to myself, what a class act he is!
