That's right!!! I couldn't let her go by herself because she would been giving free interviews and I would be losing out on my commission

 

I do have to work some of the time to pay for my addiction. We will be seen again soon, closer to home. If only I could keep Ramona away from her computer and Ticketmaster

Sorry for the delay. I just came back home we've been doing some sightseeing with Lisbeth (petiteron5) who came from Venezuela just to see the show. I'm uploading videos as I write this in my youtube channel .

I recorded most of the 2nd half of the show from my front row seat which was absolutely amazing.

 

I have seen Celine many times before (seven to be precise) and I can tell you I had never seen her so excited about a crowd like last night. In the end she was bringing her arms towards the side of her face in excitement. Before the final bow she jumped a few times in pure excitement. You could see it in her face. She was receiving all that love that only the Mexican audience can give.

 

The cameraman from the DVD was recording us the whole time. Lis with her flag from Venezuela and her goofy hat. Me with the Quebec flag and with a froggy with a mexican sombrero and a mexican flag. Gerard loved the frog he took so many pictures of it. I waited until the very end of MHWGO to throw it to the stage. I was in the big screen when I threw the frog to the stage. And one of the dancers picked it up and said she promised to give it to Celine.

 

So...I'm starting in the end...LOL ok let's go back to 3 pm. We arrived at the Four Seasons, since we did not have confirmation that Celine had already arrived in Mexico yet we decided to go and try to meet some people from her team. And we did. We met Mégo, Yves, Andre, also Aaron who was really nice. And some other dancers.

 

The highlight was ...Denisse Bombardier

 

Her husband approached us and asked if we were fans. He told us Celine was flying straight from USA that evening and going stratight to the venue. When he said he was Denisse Bombardier's husband we almost freaked out. We wanted to take pictures with him . And he laughed. He said no i'm not famous. He said his wife was upstairs and that she was writting a book about Celine that would come out next February. He said they've been touring with Celine since South Africa. Anyway I asked him why he thought Celine had not been in Mexico before. He said Rene had been looking for a promoter for a show here for a long time with no success. He said they are very interested in bringing the show to Latin America but so far the problem has been mainly that they can't find a good local promoter for organizing the shows . Oh well.

 

So later on Denisse Bombardier herself. Madame Bombardier I should say came down and started talking to us. She signed Joakin's (rexdanato) D'elles booklet of course in the "La Diva" page. Wow what a moment. I told her in French that I saw her interview in TV5 and that I was thankful really for that interview. Cause Celine talked about things that she doesn't usually talks about. She was thrilled that Lis had come all the way from Venezuela and Madame Bombardier took a photo of her with her own camera for the book that she is writting! We met her and her husband later on at the concert. They were with 4 French girls who had backstage stickers on them

 

Later on we were approached by a reporter from the newspaper "Reforma" . She interviewed Lis and me. And today we are featured in the newspaper! There's a picture with the banner we made with celinedionforum.com on it !! YAY I have the pdf . I tried to upload it here but it won't let me. In the spanish section there are scans of the newspaper. I'll work on a translation of the interview later on.

 

After they left we went to eat in a nearby restaurant. They had a full room to sit us all (20 people approx) and the waiter asked if we would want any music in particular. I took MLEC and gave it to him. It was like a Celine fan convention all of a sudden. We had a great time !

 

During the meal we received confirmation that Celine's plane had left Austin for Mexico City. We then headed to the venue . We had some connections and were able to find exactly the door where she would enter. We even spotted Michel there waiting for her. We shouted MICHEL! and he came outside to take a few photos. He's sooo nice.

 

After a while a lot of black SUVs entered they were escorted by police in motorcycles. We were in shock. We were quiet. We didn't even start shouting until the last SUV was passing by It was so......... frightening I guess is the word to know that she was there....that we were in shock. We didn't see her. But we know she was there.

 

Anyway. We went inside the theatre and took our FRONT ROW SEATS! incredible!!! Lis told one of the technicians that she came from Venezuela and asked if Celine could sign one of her photos. He said OK but only one. And he took the photo...Later on during the concert he came back with the photo signed by Celine herself!!

 

The whole concert was amazing. I saw the show in NY. We didn't have the cage, the runways, the "in-the-round" show. But Celine was sooooo excited to be in Mexico . She mentioned several times YOU ARE A GREAT CROWD. Even in spanish she said. Son un gran publico!

 

After the show outside the venue there was a market of Celine memorabilia. Cups, t shirts, pens, posters, etc.

 

Did anybody see Renè anywhere?

We never saw him.

 

Ramona and Christine: I'm sorry you couldn't make it to Mexico . I would have loved if you would have joined us. I hope next time you will

 

Ok so my next stop is Monterrey this Saturday ...and Denissed promised us something for Guadalajara too...so stay tuned

I m wondering from where he got that schedule.I saw some videos on youtube from the concert.I love the version of Alone.If she come to Romania,it will be the same atmosphere as in Mexico.We have that "corazon latino" as u guys,as we are descendents from Latins .So please vote for Celine to come to Bucharest !
