"Dion’s previous best of set, All The Way – A Decade Of Song opened at number one in 1999, on sales of 74,681 copies.

 

It is one of five Dion albums to sell more than 1m copies in the UK contributing 1,318,223 to a career UK album sales tally of 9,097,723 for Dion."

 

All the way sold 1,318,223 copies but it's still 2x Platinum (600k).

Yup, what Denelle said. I was just glad she made the top 50, because we've had virtually no promotion at all here- even less than the USA and I know you guys didn't have much! She hasn't really had any major success here since ANDHC. One Heart and Taking Chances fell out of the top 50 within weeks/a few months, if I remember right, and the French stuff usually isn't even released...

It'll be interesting to see later today/tommorow as hitsdailydouble reveals the incoming sales for last week what "My Love" did in the U.S last week....I still think it'll sell higher than 50K.

 

In Canada I'm projecting opening week of 35K high enough for the number #1 slot.

 

 

She should try to fit in maybe 1 or 2 more promos, I was thinking :

Im surpised that in the UK, Celine has sold in one week the same as in the US (or at least closeby the looks of it) normally the US is 5 times as much like TC. I am glad that without much promotion MLEC is doing so well.
