Number 13 on UK iTunes- Anastacia is 15 and Mariah is 56. Today being Saturday hopefully means lots of people are out shopping buying Celine. I might buy the album on iTunes too...just to have....

 

P.s I should also say that Anastacia is everywhere- in every magazine and was on This MOrning, she's got an advert obviously too- she's getting good general airplay...Celine, just an advert and she's still doing very well. She has such a huge fanbase here still- pity the 'critics and industry tosspots' don't cut her some slack and play some of her music.

that's OBVIOUS... sony is really stupid to come out with 2 editions of these GREATEST hits... specially when with 2 more € you get the double of the songs... anyway... no comments...

 

by the way here in portugal FNAC bought all the stock that Sony had of the ultimate essenial collection... everywhere else u can find only the essential collection... dont know how good that is but... lets see...

WHSmith UPDATE

 

 

just thought id update you on WHSMITH charts with celines new CD!

 

Last week it was at number 5 and this week it has gone down to 9 which is great, because in WHSmiths charts when a CD has been in the top ten the next week it usully falls to top 20, unless it has sold really well. Pink has gone down to celines place at 5.

 

Miss Carey has now gone down to 20 from 11 lol (its not selling at all)

 

Celine is still 1 on the deal of the week stand

 

The album has been selected fro this weeks album for 'New release you will love'. this is great as only New Cds coming out this coming week are usully sellected for this.

 

Overall this is Brill for the New CD!

 

Today we hve in the entertainment department only had 32 pleaple come and buy as sundays are always dead, 11 of these trasactions included celines CD!

THe album is doing well 'cos the songs are great though i think I Love You goodbye should have been included. It's great that "Where Does MY Heart Beat Now" is the first track. BUt I would jhave preferred "It's All Coming Back To Me Now ."

 

IT's great that the album is selling well but up to what point? I mean, the single is not really doing well on the charts. Singers get more popular if their singles are doing great on the music charts and oftenly played.
