Last night in Tesco in my town there were no copies of MLEC at all but they were selling TC beside the empty space...and in Asda today there were absolutely no copies either in two stands. It's still selling. She should pop over for a wee mini acoustic unplugged concert of her greatest hits or have them rerun the mimed special An Audience With... on primetime...New Years Eve night- that'd be a good one

Last saturday, the CBS Special "That's Just The Woman In Me" was broadcast here in Belgium on the first French-speaking TV!

However, it was at 11 PM so I don't think many people stay awake to watch it!

Please anyone in the UK that notices the Audience with or CBS Special being repeated on UK TV, let me know so I can record them on our new HD Sky Plus...instead of watching them on my dinosaur pc, it'd be good to watch them on a big TV with surround sound etc

Yeah I think "My Love" has easily outsold "Taking Chances" in the UK now. It just shows nothing can really be predicted what will sell and what wont. Celine came back with a fresh new sound last year, even came to the UK to promote it, and frankly it didn't fly off the shelves did it.

 

A year later Sony UK release this hits collection and it's been a huge success.

Yes sorry I probably didnt explain that very well. LOL. "Taking Chances" was a success. What it didnt have was the longevity in the charts that "My Love" is having.

Maybe I'm wrong, but it looks like people in UK love the ''Old School Celine''. That's probably why the GH album easily outsold TC. It's sad actually because TC did not have the success that it deserved in the UK (even though it's been certified 1x platinum).

Some friends 'n I went to FNAC and Cultura library, one of the biggest Brazilian ones, yesterday afternoon. There were NO copies of Celine's My Love album available... NO ONE. I was told that there had been 2 copies available the day before yesterday. There are a lot of TV ads being aired these days. Isn't that amazing?
