Because sales in the UK were Actually 75,000 and not the 60,000. So that means you have 100,000 for 2 countries and 54,000 between the other 8 or so countries included

Xmas sales were not so high in UK. It was 60-65 k.

 

"Complete best" were released last year. I'm not sure, if "My love" is released, the album will have good results in Japan.

Yes another stunning week in the UK charts for Celine. Still in the top 15 after 2 months!! Incredible. Sales by the way were somewhere in the region of 75,000

It just depends on the region of Belgium!

 

In Wallonia, people used to love her as well in English as in French. But now it seems they only like her when she's singing in French. Anyway, we have to say that Belgian people have not seen a physical CD single in English for ages! I think the last one is I Drove All Night or One Heart! There have been so many beautiful songs that people must have known like I Know What Love Is, Ain't Gonna Look The Other Way,...but that's maybe part of another topic!

Yet there have been many quite successful radio singles like You And I, Taking Chances, Alone, Eyes On Me and even Shadow Of Love...but no one were commercially released to support the albums!

Moreover, I think people from Wallonia were fustrated she did perform three nights in Antwerp (which is in Flanders) and not a single one in a Walloon city.

At last, Wallon people seems to react like French people when Céline is singing in English, they say "All the time in English...she forgets to sing in French for us!"

 

In Wallonia, Celine is almost considered as a HAS BEEN!

 

If she wants to reconquier European French-speaking people, she just has to make a good French album with Jean-Jacques Goldman!

Another stunning set of results in the UK charts. For this album to remain in the top 15 after 8 weeks is just incredible. Hopefully it will continue to sell well now that the promotion is ending for it. A stunning achievement for it to be the 20th best selling album of the year in the UK as well considering it's only been on sale 8 weeks!!

OMG I can't believe it has gone up to no. 13!! To still be in the Top 15 after 9 weeks is incredible for a GH!!

 

MLEC has done so much better in the UK than TC, and I hope her future albums will have a similar impact to this one...

I asked my bf to buy me My love Essential collection 2CD and 4 days before the Chrtistmas Eve he couldn't find it i ANY store in Warsaw! 3 Weeks back there were tons of Celine in stores....and now she is gone:D

TCH is certified platinum in the UK with sales of 365k. ML has supposedly sold 400k copies already. Can someone verify?
