All the previous reports are right on....Celine was full of energy, and sounding AMAZING! SO worth the drive from San Diego!! Oh, and I need my own private jet--Celine had already driven 30 minutes to the airport and her plane departed before we even got out of the parking lot!! LOL Quote

While the dedicated fans (myself and other forum members) could notice the fact that she wasn't 100%, it wasn't very obvious to the others in the audience (particularly my girlfriend who was floored, this being her first Céline concert and not being a huge fan, either). I took pictures and a few videos but I'm not sure how well the videos will turn out. We were on the floor section in row 9 so while we were close, it still got a bit blurry on camera during the performances. I must comment on the high note in "All By Myself" which she nailed perfectly. I do believe my heart skipped a few beats. For the entirety of the show she remained upbeat and with what seemed to be a full energy level. I do hope that she hasn't set herself back with her illness. When she spoke to us a few songs into the show, she mentioned how disappointing it was to her for her to cancel and reschedule shows. It was plainly visible in her eyes that she wanted to make it up to everyone. Beautiful. There were open seats however it was fairly packed and looked to be an awesome turnout considering the empty seats weren't that numerous. Don't worry guys, she did an outstanding job and I was proud. I remained on my feet for 75% of the time to show my support. My hands and arms are now sore from clapping and I don't have much of a voice (which is okay because I won't have any after Disney tomorrow ). Quote

Celine was not 100 percent better, but she sounded better than i have ever heard her before..I have seen her memphis concerts a few years ago and I have seen her in vegas numerous times. I have heard and seen numerous bootlegs of her other taking chances concerts over the past year..and I have to say..she sounded absolutely amazing tonight. Honestly better than I have ever heard her live before..and let me tell you if she sounds like this tonight..just wait until DEC 2..she will be even better. She did so many unique things with her voice that i havent heard on other bootlegs..anyway I will try to describe the show in order here...ok so she comes out through the audience before it starts..she is waving and im really surprised she just comes out in the open like that all announced..very interesting they dont try and hide her. Anyway..right when she gets under the stage they play the video...she comes out and everyone goes nuts..you can almost feel the energy. I drove all night...amazing start to the show...its full of energy and so much fun. The Power of Love..amazing as usual. Then she talks about postponing the shows..at this point she is totally unscripted and she seems so since and genuine talking about how she hates to cancel or postpone shows. She looks like she might burst into tears talking about it. She also says because of that she is really nervous, but very happy to be back. Taking Chances..she does an amazing job as usual..high energy. The medley...she sounds fantastic on all three songs...Because you loved me..also I keep thinking she might get emotional during the song..her eyes seem to tear up during this song. She also seemed very connected to this song tonight..more than usual. She did a bunch of little things with her voice during this song too. Loved it. LOVED eyes on me...the entire number is sensational with the dancers...loved the choreography and how it all came together with celine. All by Myself...words cant describe how fantastic this peformance of the song was..the best I have ever heard of it live before. AMAZING!! I got chills. IM Alive...loved it. Lots of energy she was really into it. Shadow of Love...loved hearing it live..great performance. Fade Away..one of my favs on the album and of the night. Im Your Angel- Excellent..she really got into the song and sang it perfectly. Alone..another one of my favorites she does on this tour..its 10 times better than the album version...a showstopper for me. Pour Que Tu Maimes Encore...she sang this very well..did a bunch of vocal runs with it. Loved it. Then comes My Love...now this didnt get a big reaction like i thought it would, but this is one of my favorites and she sounded FANTASTIC on this song. She got really into the song at the end yelling out YEAH! near the end..go celine! The prayer came next..when she mentioned andrea bocelli the audience went nuts..they probably thought he was going to come up on stage, but when she said he couldnt be there....i heard a few groans haha..but this got some standing ovations at the end of it...then she went under the stage..and i was kinda surprised that she didnt sing the Queen medley..I was very disappointed...but I got over it quick because one of my favorite moments was coming up. The Soul Man medley is so much fun...ok so I love Its A Mans World..I think celine performs this song so well..and everytime I have heard her on the bootlegs..she changes it up alittle..and does different things withit..let me tell you..she sang the HELL out of this song tonight. I have never heard this song better by her before tonight..at the end when she sang the last few words she REALLY went high with the note...it was out of this world good. I cant say enough good things about it. lol...anyways love can move mountains..she really has fun with this song on this tour..she really gets into it and sings the hell out of this song too...its another one of my favorites!! I have alot of favorites. But seriously LCMM is one of the best numbers in the show..its so more uptempo than vegas or previous concerts..i love the energy of it and celine...moving on...River Deep Mountain High...the other showstopping number...just fantastic..she sang this perfectly tonight...it was flawless. The lights, the stage, the dancers, her in the middle of everything....its just an experience you have to see to really understand. Incredible number..just like the vegas ones. My heart will go on...the lights fill the arena all over and its a very nice closing peformance..even though she has been singing that version of the song for 6 years now..but i wont go there..its still a VERY wonderful performance to end the evening. What a night everyone..I know I had a lot of fantastics and amazings in there, but seriously..out of all the times I have seen celine in concert on other tours and in vegas..this TOPS all those vocally and visually. Its one of the best concerts ever put together, and I hope the DVD will capture as much of the magic as it can. Celine sounded INCREDIBLE tonight...so everyone that is going to the LA show...get ready for something fierce. Just got back from Celine in Anaheim and just wanted to say that we were glad that Celine IS BACK on stage and how incredible she looked! She still is visibly and audibly not 100%, and it seemed she may have still been trying to find her "groove" back on stage. She mentioned in the beginning that she was nervous after being away for one month, but was sincerely sad about having to cancel or even postpone her shows. Some of the signs that she wasn't 100% yet though was that she kind of missed some lines in "I'm Your Angel", and was doing her best to follow at the end. Also I have not yet seen a video of Celine performing "It's a Man's World," but this evening she started off strong with the lyrics, and then from the middle towards the end she started mumbling her words, and doing more of the scatting that she likes to do with her voice when she forgets the lyrics. I even turned to my sister and said that I couldn't really understand what she was saying. She was able to hit every note, yet there seemed to be no life (vs. many other concerts I have seen Celine in). I think Anaheim might be a prep for her L.A. show, and I really felt for her as she was going through the concert. Does anybody know about the thing she does with her thumbs now? She usually does the "L" "V" and the kiss send off with her two fingers, but this evening she kissed her thumb and then used to say "hi." Is that for Rene Charles? And guys, I don't know but she left out the whole Queen tribute....has she performed that in the States? Like everyone said, there were still seat empty through the concert, and unfortunately, I'm not sure if the crowd in the upper sections was really into it, as much as the devoted Celine fans on the floor, and near the catwalk.....BTW THAT STAGE IS AMAZING>>>>I LOVE IT!
