DianaLuts Posted October 16, 2008 at 04:04 AM Posted October 16, 2008 at 04:04 AM The nail polish was burgundy I think. Combination of deep red and maybe a hint of violet, but mostly deep red burgundy. I think this was the first time I saw her wear nail polish. for some reason I keep thinking she had clear nails in most of the places. Quote

celinedion1 Posted October 16, 2008 at 04:20 AM Posted October 16, 2008 at 04:20 AM (edited) I'm back, bold, and beautiful... from the Sacramento show! I'm tired... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz I was thrilled to hear her say S A C R A M E N T O! My highlight of the night... Celine: So, if I may I would love to give it a try and sing for you tonight.crowd applauses...Celine: It's called...Sophoan: MY LOVE!Celine: That's right... Hahaha, I heard that, was that you who said that? It sounded like it came from the left somewhere of where I was sitting. I was sitting on the floor section 2 8th row. My Review: I arrived at arco at 5:45pm, the gates were open, so I went in parked and walked up a little hill. The guy who was attending the parking lot had said that the doors were already open (but I soon found out that it was just for people who had dinner reservations). So I joined a group of people by some stairs and talked with them. There were 3 lines that had formed plus the line for the dinner reservations. The local radio station was there 96.1 Mix 96, they usually play a lot of celine. So they started the playing music. The lady who was in front of me in line named Beverly, had told one of the workers to tell the radio station to play Celine. He then went and told the radio station to play Celine (but they didnt' ). So I bought a program and looked at it to kill some time (we had over an hour to wait). So we just talked (since there wasn't much else to do) and kept looking at our watches. Finelly the time came and we were led into the front of the door, and we had to wait 5 mintues (the longest 5 minutes of my life). the line going into arco must of wraped around the building. So finally the doors open and I walk in, the first thing I did was buy suviners. I bought a t shirt, a light up candle thingy, a pen, a key chain, a coffee cup, & the program earlier. I was surprised that there wasn't any taking chances cds. They were also selling posters, ticket holders, and light up sticks. After buying the stuff I then went and got my seat Floor 2 Row h, seats 5 & 6. Met some more people and talked to them for a while. The show was suppoed to start at 8pm, i think it might of been a little late but I honestly don't remember. The lights went dark and the crowd goes wild. The stage lights up and her opening act came out called Gordy (forgot his last name). He was a impersanating, singing comic. He incorporated celine into a song at the very start and of course the crowd went wild again. He did a lot of different singers and some political figures (he was really funny). So finally at 9:05pm the music starts and our girl Celine comes out. Everyone stood up and clapped and cheered; although for the most part the aduience didn't seem extremely lively, they seemed kind of quiet throughout a lot of the concert & throughout the night it didn't seem like there were 17,000 people there ( I guess I just thought that it would be louder), the first song she sang was i drove all night. She talked about her family coming with her on tour and how she's happy to be able to take her mother on tour with her. She did so many songs and she had I think 4 or 5 costum changes during the show. She did 2 duets during the show; i'm Your Angel & The Prayer with andrea bochelli (virtually). Celine was wonderful, she looked great and her voice sounded fantastic. She talked to the crowd some and at one point (the whole section I was sitting in was waving at her). She had us sing the end of because you loved me and had us dance to Love Can Move Mountains. The stage was in the round and there were catwalks on either side. The show seemed to go by so fast especially as the end was getting closer. I didn't bring a camera, but i did have my camra phone, so i did get some pictures even if they weren't the greatest. The only thing that was disappointing was this bright white light. It looked like a search light it was so bright and for most of the concert it was shining in my eyes. I could see celine beautifully the whole night (just couldnt take good pics) but at the end of the show when she sang my heart will go on, they had the light in a position, that when her back was to my side, I couldn't see her at all unless I looked at the screen. When she turned around and was facing my side for my heart will go on, then i could see her. Also having that light be so bright it was alsmost impossible to get good pictures. Even the people with cameras couldn't get good pictures. Saving the best for last...The 2 songs that were my favorite during the night was All By Myself & my love. For all by myself she hit a really big high note and it was incredible to finally get to see her preform the song live. My Love was unbelievable, the first half of the song was acapella, no instruments just her singing (it almost rought tears to my eyes). The lady in front of me was wiping her eyes the whole night. The piano was positioned so their stairs leading up to the piano were facing me. So She faced me the whole time while she did that song. Another highlight of the evening I would say would have to be the prayer. She had andrea bochelli on screen (similar to the all the way duet in vegas). Seeing her preform that live with hm on screen it was amazing. The show ended at 9:45pm and it was a night that I will never forget. I didn't get home until 12am and didn't go to sleep until 2am. It was an amazing night. I plan on seeing her again before her tour ends. Edited October 16, 2008 at 04:51 AM by Koolan Quote

Yes i ment 10:45pm, i guess im still tired from having such a great night!. The show was 1 hour and 45 minutes so almost 2 hours. She sang I think between 20-25 songs. kevzpiercd Posted October 16, 2008 at 07:23 PM Posted October 16, 2008 at 07:23 PM Hi Everyone - I just had to share this with you all. I've loved Céline for as long as I can remember... The first time I heard Where Does My Heart Beat Now I ran down to our local music store and of course she didn't have anything in stock. I'm from a VERY small town in very northern california and our only music store was just a small little shop that had a few rows of cassette tapes and records. She ordered the cassette for me and I think I wore out at least two of them (geez, does that mean I'm old!? lol - no cds at that time) Anyway, I've seen Céline four times now... once in San Jose for the LTAL tour, twice in Las Vegas (woo hoo for being at the final show!!) and then just now here in Sacramento. Céline is just a truly amazing performer and I'm sure that I'll continue to be a fan for as long as I breathe. So a truly exciting thing happened to me at the concert and I really wanted to share with you all. This is a rather long post so if ya don't wanna read it all I understand... I'll put ***s next to where the magick begins. lol. Our seats were up a little higher than I'd would have preferred, but I bought three tickets so I couldn't go for the best ones in the house. Don't get me wrong, they were still pretty good. We were section 215, row D, the first three seats from the stairs. The show starts and my sister and I scream and yell and clap. When the lights come up to reveal Celine behind the screen my sister and I both stood up and clapped. IMMEDIATELY the woman behind me starts hitting me telling me 'you're just going to have to sit down because I can't see anything!' OH GREAT... So I reluctantly sit down not even 30 seconds into I drove all night... I figure that's okay and if I have to, I'll move over to the stairs to dance. I drove all night finishes and my sis and I both scream and yell and clap again. The man sitting in front of us turns around and goes 'you two need to shut up because that just really hurts my ears!' At this point I'm thinking honestly WTF people!!?? you're at a concert!!!?? if you want quiet, wait for the dvd to be released and watch it at home. The other person we came with immediately jumped up. He doesn't have the best temper and I was thinking to myself PLEASE don't do anything to get us kicked out. He runs down the stairs and around the corner to where the usher was at. I see him talking to her and all of sudden he points and my sis and me and motions for us to come on. I grab sis and we walk over to where they were. The usher leans over to me and says "i understand you're having some problems with someone?" I just sort of smiled and she put her arm around me and says "Well hon, I understand you're a big fan and just want to enjoy the show as much as possible. With that in mind, go over to guest relations and tell them there are some people around you giving you a hard time for wanting to have fun.' We walk over there, explain the situation to the man behind the desk. He asks how many of us there are and we say three. He reaches in a drawer and pulls out a stack of tickets and starts going thru them. Now I instantly think he's going to move us to the last row so if we stand up no one will get mad they can't see... but instead ***** WE GOT MOVED TO FLOOR TWO - ROW S ******We were in the 19th row, the last row on the floor at the back of the stage! We got to sing and dance and the only ones behind were the camera crew who were already up ahead of us! Needless to say I was ECSTATIC and so excited that I got to shake my butt and yell and have a good time. I was really tempted to run back up to our other seats, show the other people the ticket and just go "neener neener neener!!' but I didn't. :-p My favorites were definitely 'eyes on me' and 'fade away' and of course 'river deep mountain high' (ya just GOTTA dance with that one!!!) and i LOVE how she's playing with the vocals a little now in 'taking chances'. Also, quick note to Sophoan - i too yelled 'my love' but at the beginning of when she is first talking about the song. :-) Right after she says about how Linda Perry gave her wonderful song someone went 'woo' and i yelled 'my love!' but she didn't hear me.... :-( all of the people that were around us turned around and smiled. Then when she actually said 'it's called' and you yelled 'my love!.. 'that's right.' the woman in front of us goes 'well see honey ya just needed to be louder like he was." :-) I'm so jealous you got a moment with her and I didn't!!! Just kidding - that is so awesome! celine4evauk Posted October 17, 2008 at 06:51 PM Posted October 17, 2008 at 06:51 PM I'm just wondering now...do you think she's annoyed by us shouting out MY LOVE ? I think it distracts her. In the Boston bootleg one fan screams "I love you" interrupting the song right after the second verse "we have seen it all" All the arena laughed and Celine had to re-start . I'm just hesitant as to wether she finds it amusing to get this feedback or if she would rather have a quiet audience I seem to recall that during the UK leg of the tour - when people were calling out to her - there was a huge backlash of people saying it was rude etc. Now its like its the "done thing" Quote

Scramasboy Posted October 17, 2008 at 10:02 PM Posted October 17, 2008 at 10:02 PM (edited) I wen't to the concert in Sacramento and it was fricken AWEEESOMEEEE!!!!! My first Celine concert ever, and it was just GRAND! I'v watched so many youtube clips of her concert and they we're amazing, but it's literally 100x better in person! In that video Sophoan posted, you can here me and my sis say "WE LOVE YOU CELINE" at 00:51 [The My Love video] Anyway, I got my tickets off of craigslist for $94 [for 2] up way at the top, but I didn't care it was CELINE! So, after getting to Arco Arena, and standing in like for a half hour or something [i was probably 20th-40th in line in the line on the right] and we finally got in and I wish I had some money to get some merch.. sigh* But I barely had ticket money. Anyway, me and my sis fond the stairs that led up to our section number and we walked up all those steps and found our seats. She wen't to sit and barely squeezed her bum in there and then I wen't to sit- And it wasn't happening! HAHA! I swear those seats we're only 18 inches wide. If the arm rests wen't up maybe it would have worked but they didn't! ahahaha So! I turned to the help clerk guy and said, "So now what?" and he had this shocked look on his face, and he was all, "I don't know" and I just bluntly said, "Where do you sit the large people?" And he told me to go to the help desk and said that we can exchange our tickets. So me and my sister march down to the help desk and I said, "We are too large for your tiny seats, and I was told I could be moved to a section with larger seats" and she said, "alright" and again, the woman asked the guy, and he told his helper to take me to a box. I got BOOX SEATTING OHHH YEAH! It was AWESOME! I paid $94 bucks for $200+ seating! It was literally the only time in my life that I was glad to be bigger than the average person. It was soo cool too, when Celine wen't down the catwalk, all I had to do was look out and she was right there! I didn't even need binoculars [which I brought in case I'd need it] and I was screamin the entire time I still don't have my voice back all the way! And Sophoan, I think it wasn't too wild because there we're alot of older people there and I just think they didn't feel like it? I don't know. There we're some snots there but it was worth it! There was a standing ovation after All By Myself! I watched alot of clips and alot of her ovations wern't as long! But generally it wasn't a wrighly crowd, but I liked it because it was better for me to hear Celine! I'v been to Arco Arena like, 6 times and like, 4 times for concerts and this ties for #1! She was sooo awesome! Alot of papers like the Sacramento Bee kinda dog on her show or antics but she literally does put on an entire show and she doesen't dissapoint and I think that should be noted! I also wanna say that I never liked the song 'Love can move Mountains' but when watching it live, I totally get it! It's definantly a song that should be performed live! And she hot some AWESOME notes! Very high! FIVE STARS! Oh and one time my sister had a spotlight on her, during I'm your Angel, and it wasn't even part of the Halo, it was just awkwardly there xD Edited October 17, 2008 at 10:03 PM by Scramasboy Quote http://68.media.tumblr.com/0215da4dacb45f3375c9bf63cb89e9c3/tumblr_o3edqjdnpP1s2lrfeo1_1280.png
celinedion1 Posted October 18, 2008 at 03:58 AM Posted October 18, 2008 at 03:58 AM I wen't to the concert in Sacramento and it was fricken AWEEESOMEEEE!!!!! If the arm rests wen't up maybe it would have worked but they didn't! ahahaha So! I turned to the help clerk guy and said, "So now what?" and he had this shocked look on his face, and he was all, "I don't know" and I just bluntly said, "Where do you sit the large people?" I looked in the sacramento bee to see if there was anything about celine the morning after and all it said was Celine drove all night to get to sacramento, and then it showed her picture. I was looking for a article but I never found one. Quote
