So i have tickets to see celine in sacramento at arco arena on october 14th. Even though I live in sac and have been to arco a lot i've never been to a concert there. I just got a new phone so i could take pictures when i see celine in october. I read on another post in this forum that some places they actually allow pictures to be taken and other places are real strict. How can I get pictures when i see celine in arco arena in sac? Does anyone know if there camera policies are strict or not for concerts? my phone is a LG Shine (newest model) if that helps. Since i've never been to a concert before I have no idea how to go about getting photos. Any help would be very helpful.

I am going to see her Sept. 22 in Columbus Ohio ....I can let you know how strict they were. I would think they are not that strict about camera phones....have you seen some of the great footage on "you tube" from her concerts? Bet you can get away with it. Probably thin cameras could get in also. Not like when she was in Vegas....can post some info later.....

The "problem" is that is no specific rule about taking pictures during the Taking Chances tour. In fact, in most European countries regular "point & shoot" cams were allowed at most performances. DSLR's are never allowed unless you have permission or when you smuggle one inside (which can actually work). But security measurements are total different between the EU and the US. Here in Europe the security wasn't to tight and as long if you weren't taken pictures with a professional camera they allowed everything, even from the front row. But I know it's rather different in the US were camera's are also not allowed but they check it frequently. I've been to some concerts in the US also and I was never been able to take pictures. Hell, in Vegas with the AND show I even must give my cell phone since it had a 2mpix camera back in those days... On most US tickets it is also printed that no A/V equipment is allowed during the concerts, so you are warned in advance. Here in Belgium (and several other countries in the EU) the tickets aren't mentioning this or at most have a small line printed that professional A/V equipment isn't allowed).

 

A LG cell with a cam should not be a problem to take with you and probably a small point & shoot cam will also be ok.

 

But then again, a lot of reviews will come before Céline enters your city so it will become clear when it's possible or not

I think it depends on the venue and the artist..I went to a Josh Groban concert and I was fourth row, people all around me had P&S cameras and some even had video cameras! It was crazy! So it really depends.

I know Celine doesn't care about cameras, heck she even took a picture of a fan with their camera. Let's hope this is the same case as Josh because I plan to bring my hi-def camcorder.

OMG! I am SO excited! We're like 26 hours and 40 minutes away from Celine hitting the stage! Woo hoo! And get this: it's the exact 10 year anniversary of my very first Celine concert! Yay! Time sure does fly!

Yes, MY LOVE, I was able to square it off with my professors so they let me go. And i managed to get an airticket today. But I am coming all by myself and leaving at 6 AM Wed.
