the article says oct 28th but it also says it may change..but I think they gave an indicative date, coz it's the release date of the GH.

It says Céline has been on Oprah to tape a full hour to promote "Hommages en visages". I guess it's called "Faces of Hope" in english. Apparently 3 kids are with Céline on Oprah's set. I also guess Céline will promote her best of by the same token.

yay! i love celine on oprah - the two have such a great relationship and its a joy to see them together!

and even if they dont do any specific promo for the GH album (which i doubt) i think we can be sure that Oprah will plug it quite a lot!!

She did indeed tape Oprah today... she performed a short version of "My Love".

SHORT version of My love? Too bad it's not the whole thing but i guess we should be lucky we have that. Honestly it would be interesting to see her perform the radio version live, somthing different from the tour!!

That TC Oprah Special was very disappointing- I remember cringing through her performance of Alone- that high note...eughhhh- more like a squeak. She's singing so much better now. I didn't think it had the bombastic Celine power that other Oprah specials have had. Hope this next one is good- obviously a favour after the Charice help from Celine

And don't be affraid for promotion of Celine. And Oprah loves Celine, she won't let the show go by without plugging the new album, even if it is just as they go to commercial...and they'll probably run commercials during the show, too....one would think...

I was very happy with the "Taking Chances" Oprah show actually. I thought other than the note in Alone and the high note in Taking Chances she did really well with her live performances. I thought the moment about her Dad was beautiful and revealing and loved pretty much most of the interview. I liked it more than the "Miracle" appearance and will probably like it more than this "UNICEF" based appearance.

I agree with Stevo in a way, she did seem to struggle with the newer songs, she sings them MUCH better now. She did however perform her older songs like IDAN and BYLM better than ever. I wouldn't mind if she didn't sing actually. Everyone knows that she can sing. It's about time that people know that she can care and show unbelievable compassion and empathy as well.
