February 15, 2009 - Montreal, Canada (Bell Centre)

For the who have have seen Celine at the Bell Centre have you ever sat at the third or fourth levels of the arena? I desperately want to go to the last show and can only afford the upper sections and was wondering what it is like up there.Just have to wait for conformation of the last show before I buy these tickets. I have totally decided that I'm OK with sacrificing food and new clothes for a while so that I can afford the show and a mini-vacation

 

Do you guys think it would be better for me to just suck it up and fly or opt for a majorly long (and probably safer) train ride? (Yeah, I'm petrified of planes .. haha)

I've been to Bell Centre and even though I did not actually sit in those higher sections I saw them. They are pretty high up, but probably no different then most of the same type of arenas in North America like the TD Banknorth area in Boston or the Verizon center where I live. My advice for this concert is even though they are not the greatest seats, still GO! They have a lot of video screens all over the place and you will get a good view above the stage. The best part is that you will get to see her last TC show on the tour, in her hometown, which is well worth it! And it's also different then her other shows since she sings more french songs.

I'm considering going to this show myself.

I finally bought my tickets: ParterreNord, row D, seats 21 and 22. That's the fourth row from the stage, right? There's no AA seats in front of it, right?

I hope this is the last "last" show

I can't wait for February!

I'm thinking about going to this actually.

 

It would be a huge thing for me if I did...but I don't understand the seating and all that. Plus, I'd drive up, and that would take a long time. Not sure yet...we'll see how things go for the rest of this year and Jan. I'd love to be there though...I'm sure there are MANY forum fans that I would LOVE to meet that will be there!!!

Yeah but you can be a cold weather person for a few days!

 

I'm used to cold weather. I grew up in it and I've been to Montreal in the winter. It can definitely get COLD! The only thing to worry about is if it snows. I was there last December in a blizzard and A LOT of snow. In fact there was so much snow that they had to shut down the airport the day before I got there!

 

Sometimes it can be milder weather too. It will be interesting for those that decide to go!

Yeah, I have to wait until I have the money for it. I need to find a hotel, though - ain't no way I can do VA - Montreal in one day .. hahaha

If I didn't read the "OMAHA, DENVER, SALT LAKE CITY, SAN JOSE CONCERTS RESCHEDULED" post, I would've almost bought a ticket to see her in Montreal "thinking" it was going to be her last show. Well - looks like it won't be afterall!

I'm going to decide whether or not to still attend a show in Montreal, or just wait around till after the new year to see where her final concert will be.

Although I think I'd still go on 15th since it'll be her last show in Montreal/Canada...and then see how the other rescheduled dates pan out.

Apparently, the seating chart that's on ticketmaster has been changed compared to the one in august... so the piano side would actually be the south side, and she would arrive on floor north.

 

Several people who attended the shows in Montreal in August said that.

Well, it's not really their fault... She got sick, and had no more dates available before February 15. I doubt they'll settle for Denver as their last show. Not that there's anything wrong with Denver, but Celine and Rene chose their first and last concerts in cities that have some specific meaning to them.

I'm thinking of going crazy, getting a credit card, and buying tix to the quebec and montreal shows and staying up canadaland for one whooole week. We can just call it an x-mas gift to myself that I can't afford. I'm going to wait a little longer to make sure work doesn't get in the way, but if it doesn't...it's a go!
