This is fun. Another idea: Constantly show your pictures from one (or more) of the concerts, and as you're going through them make sure to name all the band members, dancers, etc off by heart. I'm sure a few of us know all the names (first and last) of everyone in Celine's inner circle. We need, to right? Just in case one of them walks by while we're stalking and we want to take a pic with them, Ok, I'm guilty!!

1. Randomly sing a line from any Celine song, and when they don't know the rest of the lyrics, act seriously offended

 

2. Constantly use phrases such as "Oh My Dion", "What The Dion", "What in the name of Celine Marie Claudette Dion", etc

 

3. In every conversation, try to connect it to Celine in anyway possible

5. Proclaim that March 30th is an international holiday, and say if they don't come to the Celine birthday party you're throwing(even though she won't be there), they aren't your friend anymore

Just play 5-6 heavy vocal Celine songs on a row and they will be sick for a week, songs like "you and i", "river deep mountain high", etc...... they can't stand them

Ive converted 2 of my girl friends to quite avid fans now though haha! One even ended up having a dream that she was Celine! She called me and was like look what you've done to me!!! LOL

She didn't know who Celine Dion was when she first knew I loved her music and I went mad proclaiming "She's the best selling female artist of all time"

I've tried to do that, but my family wouldn't let me make them watch AND!

When I went to see Celine in Manchester for my birthday in May I was only 13 I couldn't go on my own (Well my whole family had to go and stay the night in a hotel as we live 2 hours away, but I needed someone to go with me on the trains etc to get to the MEN arena, so it was between my mum and my dad - neither of them are Celine fans. My dad agreed to go and he really enjoyed it so I think he's one step ahead than my mum who just can't stand her (she needs a good slap I know!)

I FINALLY got my family to watch A New Day... and my sis, and my sis in law LOVED IT! Mom says she is a wonderful singer but she doesen't like how she is so snotty and fake [wtf, I know hello Celine is AMAZING! lol and so generous and all that!] but yeah

 

And I'v done that, I say Oh My Dion! Or, Oh My Celine! And I do the think twice one all the time, before I even read this xD

i too do a lot of these things already but here are a couple more

- leave celine cds in every cd player (car & house)

- when in the car play celine songs really low and when the other person asks you to turn the music up, turn it up alll the way and start screaming the lyrics

- and basically reference anything to Celine... it's not hard to do and we have all done that or could do that already

- if you have a family computer like i do, change the desktop pic to a different celine pic or set it so it changes like a slideshow

all my stuff like cell phone, ipod, computer, and my room is loaded with celine stuff so it annoys everyone ( especially my family), but they have grown to accept her

I'm so glad I'm not the only one that does some of these things!

 

 

After introducing my friends to the Celinedionforum.com they were amazed at how many of us 'freaks' existed. And then I explained that being on here is like being at home!!

 

 

 

Another thing that I am guilty of doing, quite a lot is, in the middle of a conversation between a group of friends I usually find something within the conversation, sometimes even just a word or phrase, that reminds me of Celine, or is in some way Celine related. I start laughing and when they ask me what I'm laughing at, I make it out like it's proper funny, but they wouldn't want to know. And then, after a while of persuading I spill out a whole plethora of facts and phrases. When they ask me to repeat them, because I spoken too fast, they've gotten themselves into something....An Hour of Celine Dion Facts and Phrases!!

I am guilty of all of those, and as an English speaking person, with English speaking friends, it's quite amusing. I once drove around Washington DC in the summertime with the top down on my car, listening to Dion Chante Plamondon, as loud as I could and singing along. The passenger in my car didn't care for it too much, but the homeless folks were clapping for me.

 

My new conversation interjection is definitely "And If I May..."; it's a great way to get others to quiet down.
