Ways to annoy non-Celine fans

I tell everyone, "do you know what international holiday it is today?" when it's Celine's bday. In 8th grade, Cel's 31st bday, I had a Celine birthday party at my house and invited all my friends. A few of them thought it was my birthday! We sang to "Celine" (a poster cut out) had a cake, and sang/danced to Celine's music. It was a lot of fun!

 

I am counting down to when I'll be seeing Celine live again...60 days!

I was thinking of ways to use her name with regular phrases, and that one just popped up. It's a mouthful for me to say normally, so I haven't used it in real life yet. Oh My Dion, though, is a permanant part of my vocabulary

I did that! It's so easy doing that with the titles of Celine songs.

1. Randomly sing a line from any Celine song, and when they don't know the rest of the lyrics, act seriously offended

 

9. Constantly play Celine when they're in the car with you

 

10. Whenever they mention any song, say "Tsk, tsk, Celine could've sang that so much better"

 

11. If they don't know who Celine Dion is, act mortified and shocked that you even know them

 

12. Be on their computer as much as possible, spending all of your time on celinedionforum.com

 

13. Count down to every Celine event in your conversations with them(ex. "Oh, it's 18 days 'til the tour DVD is released!")

Usually the non-fans I've encountered are haters, so to annoy them I just say "Celine."

 

O I'll be singing a Celine song they don't know, they'll be like "I like that, I think I've heard it before... who sings it" .... then they roll their eyes when I answer their question.

I don't do any of those things to annoy anyone, I do it just because that is me and I can't help but to talk about her or listen to her at any chance I get...my friends and family are used to it. It's been going on for 16 years now, and they know it isn't gonna stop anytime soon.

If people make any snide remarks about Celine and tell you how much they think some flavor of the month singer or group is so much better just politely mention how many albums Celine has sold in her career compared to whoever they mention. That should shut them up for awhile!
