My original comment was probably a bit too moderate. It's definitely rarer than the other 2, not just in the same league as them.

Where did you get your Best of 3CD digipack from? It's very strange, Amazon.fr and .com have it listed but neither have it in stock, and Amazon.com says it's been discontinued by the manufacturer. Maybe it's gonna be a rare item very quickly if it has been deleted already. Maybe Sony realised how crap it was! :xmas_ohmy:

I've ordered mine from Priceminister for about €20. I can't wait to see what it's like inside. It's a stupid release though - from what I've seen the front and back covers are identical to ONCP, but it doesn't say ONCP anywhere... :xmas_rolleyes:

p.s - shaun! where is that 'an evening with celine dion' program from - looks lush!

I wonder how he got it too! It documents the private show Celine performed in Brunei for the Sultan. It must have been produced after the show, you can see some photos of Celine meeting the Sultan and his family and those photos are from that concert. The photo of Celine sitting on the stairs became the cover for the VHS too.

Booklet included is IDENTICAL to the normal ONCP 2CD booklet, but at the back they've only put the track details for discs 1 and 2. The details for the 3rd disc are behind it's disc tray :xmas_rolleyes: At least they remembered to change track order for this edition! :giggle:

Yeah it's very strange. Usually they don't put much care into these re-releases, yet they've gone to the trouble of renaming everything even though it's blatantly On ne change pas! Oh well it's still a nice thing to have.

If you're interested Davey, I bought mine from this seller on Priceminister, called lestroishuit, who has them at €20,90 - still sealed!

Your great enthusiasm for the seemingly infinite number of different versions of Celine's albums. Which is by no means a negative thing. I just target a far smaller selection of releases for purchase, probably at least partially the result of the cost of shipping to Australia (and the at times unfavorable exchange rate) making everything more expensive.

I'm considered to have an obsession both extreme and disturbing to friends and family. But I seem quite moderate in comparison to yourself and various others on this forum. :yes:

The pictures are lovely BTW. I really like the fact that this (and other) ONCP releases have pictures of (relatively) rare singles like CNQR and J'attendais.

It's also cool to pause the JNVOP music video at the point at which the various single/album covers are shown and realise that I have all of them. :clap:

I wish they would take advantage of this (at least reasonably) extensive knowledge of Celine's early releases and re-release her early material on CD.

The packaging of that "best of" edition looks very cool Timster :yes: . However, they know how to RUIN a great picture and a great cover with those horrible fonts :sick: :sick: :puke:

I think Sony did a masters degree specialized in how to ruin CD artworks! :yes:

hahaha yeht hat on ne change pas is gorgeous inside apart from the friggin font and the red!? haha its an easier edition to own than the canadian 3cd version in size and shape. i may purchse.

I finally got to open my d'eux special edition today!! gorgeous!!!! i love love love the original full photo of the album cover inside !! Looooved the tv special as well altho was ultra dissapointed that it was all mimed! haha!! but i see why they put it on there....mainly for the interview - was really interesting and FIIIINALLY we get english subtitles!!!!!

p.s - the hilllarity of the dvd menu designs! hahaha shocking!!

but even more excitedly i also got (finally) live a quebec!!! I am sooo blown away by this dvd and will even go as far as to say its prob my favourite celine dvd ever. its soooo good....the whole thing...live...she is on such top form and looks....sooooo beautiful.....(this of course u all know)....i love the behind the scenes stuff and i love the clips of the tour love love love!! and i love the remix of dans une autre monde at the start!! i kinda want it as a full song ha!

ok, i have tried taking a new Pic of the D'eux CD, but it isn't coming out clear, so apologies,

I have also showing pics of my Boxsets i have .. i am missing the Mexican LTAL .. are there any others...oh and i just realised i missed off the pic, the Unison Boxset

also, the Tour Tee's i have 6 colours so far, does anyone have anyother colours i need to get??

The Pic of the Cupboard is all My Celine CD's (Plastic cased ones.. the card ones are in a box)... i will share all pics one day... i want to photograph all of them...

the last pic, is my Book of Love... Celine signed this in Paris last yesr... but upside down - you can see me in the bottom left hand corner... also is my ticket to the Audience with...Celine signed this afterwards...thankyou Celine!

I've spent £53.97 today for 3 new shelves for my Celine collection. At £17.99 each, they're not cheap but they look great and they're very strong! :clap:

So now I have sooooo much room! :xmas_biggrin: I've now separated my UK and Japanese albums, is that a good idea? I just don't want loads of the same thing on my album shelf or else I won't have much room left!

Hey guys.. So i was at walmart today looking at what they had left after christmas and i saw Celine's "chic" perfume and attached was a bonus CD called "Celine Dion Featured Live Recordings". I have never seen this before. It has 5 tracks

1. I'm Alive (not the same version from Celine Dion Live in Las Vegas.. sounds like the exact same recording off the A New Day DVD)

2. My Love (From My Love The Essential Collection)

3. Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore (From A New Day)

4. River Deep Mountain High (From A New Day)

5. My Heart Will Go On (with the full violin/vocal intro from A New Day)

All of these recordings sound very similar to the A New Day DVD.. except for My Love.. that is the same recording from My Love Ultimate/Essential Collection. I believe what they did was just take the Audio from the DVD and put it on a CD. At the end of RDMH Celine says "thank you good night" I was just very excited about this and wanted to see if anyone knew about this? It kind of makes you wonder how many recordings Sony has that we have never heard.. And perhaps they have another Live CD or recordings from A New Day? I just found it interesting and wanted to share..

Hello everyone. Last night, I was at Tower Records and I saw this Box Gift with the 3 albums, it looks very diferent than the one I've seen in internet, even more the cover photo (which by the way I don't like, Celine talking on the phone?). Anyway, I bought it. The only rare thing for me was the 'Where Is The Love' song which it wasn't on my previous LTAL album, and the box of course. So, I bought a song and a box for USD 23 :ermm:

I wanted to share it with you anyway... -_-
