I was so surprised when I saw it. Especially since Celine is not that popular here in Norway. But I guess when it comes to love music and valentine, Celine's the one for romantic music. She surely has to have noticed it after 7 years without her logo on her releases!. I imagine it may be behind all this a legal issue. Maybe the designer of that logo (anyone knows who he/she is?) only signed a contrat for its use in her music cds during 10 years, so between 1993-2003 we had it everywhere, but since 2003, byebye to the logo! But its strange, we still can see it on her official TeamCeline logo and on some stupid merchandising of the official site from time to time! It represents the English language Celine of the '90's and they need to keep her as contemporary as she can be. It is still her logo in our hearts and it's nice to see it pop up from time to time, but it was time to move on and post break was the best time to do it.(I know the irony of this, when I use it on my own site (see below) but I'm a site for collectors so I'm allowed to indulge in the past!)In time it may come back.I was always a big fan of the logo used during the celine dion era myself. It stood for Céline, her voice, the quality! People knew who was meant with just the logo, it wouldn't have been prominent on the cover, but somewhere, even if it was only on the cd, that would have been good enough too. also, the other 'celine dion' they used after that, are cheap as hell! Hilda Posted February 19, 2009 at 08:00 PM Posted February 19, 2009 at 08:00 PM hate the one heart logo..who uses eurostyle? no one! thats who!.....Celines logo is still her logo...its her brand...you can see that because its 1. still used but just on more 'retrospective' products she releases and as part of her fan club etc. Its just not used in current stratagies as you say probably to try and move her image on. But i do miss it. But at least it hasn't gone. Quote
