This came today and its really cool! Has a nice poster inside and it has a section describing her career up until this point.

 

How cool is it that it mentions water and a flame to be out in October?

I love this release too! Best 'Best Of' release in years!!! The little story is really nice! Funny it totally skips her true golden years; FIY-ATW lol but it's nice to have some recent information in there! Also the way the booklet folds out to a poster is pretty neat too! Tbh Davey I was really impressed with this! Not what I was expecting

 

Maybe it's because Sony is nowhere on this release lol

 

The poster is really cool and I love the picture on the inside of the cd

 

I'm discovering the songs as we speak and I love them! I know a lot of them but her old French songs I've never really listened to them! I think it's time to get to know these gems lol

I Always say you have to learn to listen to her older songs. Some sound so outdated, but there are so many magnificent gems hidden in her 80ies songs! I am glad you enjoy them!

I only had one UK album on Epic, now I almost have them all! LOL I first found the FIY in a charity shop, and in the same street I found ATW aswell! Unfortunalty I didn't see any real record shops

TAST turned out to be a Columbia release, but it was different then my copy

Left new copy, right old copy (that one misses the Made in Austria line)

The new copy I got has 52 engraved on the back of the cd, my old one had 22, so I guess it's a rerelease.

USA edition of DCP, it's darker than the European one. I got it for a cent LOL! Canadian promo copy of TC.

A best of cd I got from my dad It is a UK product, designed in Holland, and sold in Germany! LMAO go figure! also the Essential 2CD, I bought it at Aldi for 8 euros! Pfff! lol

When I got 1F4T I found out I already had it! But as it turned out there are two different releases!

513481.4 is a French one, 513481-4 is also French, but made in the Netherlands!! So I am happy to have discovered that! LOL

It is so awesome!! Only thing is... it says it has Unison Remix on it. but it's the normal album version! Anyone else can confirm theirs only have the album version as well???

The Unison LP, which I love. I didn't know the song lyrics were inside with a gorgeous photo. I also got the Canadian 12" Love Can Move Mountains.

 

 

 

Then I received the Spanish vinyl single for "When I Fall In Love" and the Greek "Celine Dion" Real News promo CD.

I never realised there were two different editions of the Beauty and the Beast 3" single. Davey84, is it just the cover artwork that differs, or are the catalogue numbers and labels different, too?

Really cool that you found the alternative cassettes for 1F&4T. You wouldn't expect that a cassette album would have had a re-release. But why they would have two different companies making two different cassette designs for the same market also escapes me.

 

I wonder what the "Fair" is implying in that Special Times leaflet?

 

And well done on getting so many Epic CDs all in one go. You must have been scouring the second hand shops all week!

On one the title is written in English, the other one is written in Japanese. There is no difference in catalogue numbers or label, just the front cover!

I dunno either, you wouldn't even think they'd bother manafacturing a cassette in that time by more than 1 factory anyway!

But there are quite big differences, like a lot of 90's cassette singles...

 

I think the Fair implies 'contest' as far as my knowledge of Japanese goes lol!

 

And actually I couldn't find so many shops to search for cds, but I am happy with what I found!
