Yeah Simon, the boutique is very expensive! Even more expensive than AND was! And I hate the fact it's all old photos!
And also lesser quality, the fridge magnets of AND are 100% better quality than Celine...
That's one of the reason I haven't bought so much this time.

Great buys Davey! 2011 really was the year of the cassette for you. My favourite is the ATW with that amazing fold out inside. (Did you know they used the hedge in my back garden for that shoot?)

And all those cassettes for under €25? Good man!

Don't forget that you have one of those red Russian square vinyls for me.

They're bound to be collectors items in years to come.

Damn! Why did I get it into people's heads that you are the caretaker of the Celine Museum?

As if you're ego isn't already bigger than your 12" vinyl collection.....

Great additions all of them! I am especially happy to see the cassettes, I like this format a lot now that its out of production since 2007.

I'm glad you also finally succumbed for the Mini Discs! (aren't they a cute? :wub: ) :laugh:

The ANDHC Asian cassette with cardboard slipcase and The Last To Know and NBBMH cassingles are lovely! :in_love:

No, its not just you! I miss the casual look of Céline too :yes: Like in the ANDHC era where she dressed more simple with jeans :wub:

I agree that maybe today she's too much concerned about wearing top designer outfits and ultra expensive shoes (Louboutins...) for her TV appearances instead of being more simplier. Put the blame on the dresses she uses to wear for her show these days... :rolleyes: :shrug:

nothing broken but my heart is probs my fave single cover of hers - she looks gooorgeous and yes i love simple celine but although she has a good stylist now i still think her look is very simple....nothing over the top about it at all - shes all about the blazers with white tops underneath and a simple statement necklace or something....and then with jeans.....if you asked me the a new day era was her most over the top and most hideous era of dressing - and with that those aaaawful hair extentions as well making it even worse. She wore all these over floaty....too big and baggy blouses with crazy colours ie on letterman singing im alive....eeeew. so glad she has style now....i think shes never looked so good as these days clothing wise.

Yeah somehow her Unison and Celine Dion area were very good clothing wise, but then during 94-98 she kinda lost it with the weird suits, aweful chanel suits and later on those stiff suits for 50 something women...During ATW she got her swung back and started to dress sexy and modern again. ANDHC was an ok time, she had fun with the clothes she wore...But lately she really looks amazing each time! Of course the dresses are way too expensive, but who knows maybe those jeans from the Unison area were also expensive Versace Jeans! :lol:

Have to agree. TCOML era went in a pretty weird direction. Don't know who is to blame, but I expect Celine herself probably shares a lot of the blame. Unison/Celine Dion era were hot and as Davey said by the turn of the century she was looking great again. From about 97 on was the best she looked in ages. While of course all fashion is of its time and can be looked back on in horror, she now is looking stunning all the time.

It will be interesting to see what style she uses for the new albums. Classical like D'elles? Or contemporary like Taking Chances?

BTW. How did this topic suddenly become the Celine Closet?

pahaha yeah i dunno but im loving it haha. i think shes doing the 'classic' look VERY well! very very well...and it will be interesting maybe seeing her taking a bit of that but also a bit of the simplicity of her more off stage look. 'simple glam' maybe - haha she loves a statement piece.
