Javito Posted January 1, 2012 at 01:25 PM Posted January 1, 2012 at 01:25 PM I'm sorry you had to fo that far Davey , but my previous post was written right away without having read the last posts, including that one which alluded directly to me. Because of that and in my defense I have to say something, and I respct the risk of getting a warning too I so surprised a fan feels that annoyed to be outbided for an item, when we don't even know who is outbidding who since nicknames are hidden now in eBay and we don't know each other. I don't even know who this girl is. But I've been after that promo since it was released in 2008 but I was waiting to an affordable price because it reached always ridiculous prices. I don't even have to give an explanation why I buy whatever I want, do I? Last but not least, the fans who know me since 10 years ago in this and other past Céline forums know me and can judge if I'm a true fan or not, no matter what comments may I write Peace and Happy New Year fellows! J-Man Posted January 1, 2012 at 05:38 PM Posted January 1, 2012 at 05:38 PM (edited) Wow!!! Drama on the collectors section!! Total over-reaction to losing out on an eBay bid! Davey is right, let's not let this topic descend into the nut house that most other sections of this forum have become. We are collectors, we are above all that. That race to buy the two Dion Chante Plamondons was very stressfull. Stupid old biatch in her mobility scooter was buying up the whole fecking store!!! I was sirely tempted to just wheel her out of the way. But it was indeed very worth it. And don't be blaming Little Luc and me for your tubby tummy! That was the fault of the Belagio buffet breakfast!! (7 times he went up for refills, 7!!) I'll post my signed CD soon Yes Jav, that is a hard to find version. I was looking for it for him for ages. And when I did finally get it, the seller sent me the wrong one by mistake! Luckily he was very honest and sent the right copy to me. And Davey, you're welcome bud. Javito Posted January 1, 2012 at 08:10 PM Posted January 1, 2012 at 08:10 PM (edited) Celine Fan 1992, I'm afraid you have a lot to learn from the veteran members in this forum. Yes, and in particular, those who participate in this thread Let me tell you that people who spends loads of money on Céline stuff year after year, since years, cannot be what you called "untrue fans" like you said, they could be called whatever you want except that. These fans are people who support Céline buying whatever things related to her. So your tantrum was totally contradictory. You can call me negative, say that I complain about Céline's career or whatever, but not accuse me of not being a true fan just because I don't say what you would like to read... Here are some of the most loyal and true Céline fans you can find in the forum (and also, some of the kindest persons may I say) You have much to learn from fans like J-Man or Davey. Yes Jav, that is a hard to find version. I was looking for it for him for ages. And when I did finally get it, the seller sent me the wrong one by mistake! Luckily he was very honest and sent the right copy to me. And Davey, you're welcome bud. Interesting! Which country is this from? I didn't know about this one Edited January 1, 2012 at 08:13 PM by Javito Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"

Davey84 Posted January 2, 2012 at 10:07 AM Posted January 2, 2012 at 10:07 AM OMG Davey!!! You MET Luc Plamondon???!!! I would have died to have that chance!! I absolutely adore his Céline album So he's a talker like Céline? I wouldn't have never guessed that! He always looked shy to me when it comes to chat! But glad to see it's the other way around I love the message he wrote... L'amour existe encore! You just have to give that to Céline to sign it in the front cover and you'll have a treasure Could you ask him about the english version of the song? If I had been in your shoes I wouldn't have stopped asking him about the spanish version Awww great items really, I like how you displayed it all Edit: is that SSDA single a rare pressing? I've never heard of that one with I'm Your Angel Hahaha I totally forgot about those supposed versions of LAEE! I should have asked him! He does come across a bit shy, but he was very nice and very polite! Thank you for noticing the display, it does take me a while to put it all on photo That race to buy the two Dion Chante Plamondons was very stressfull. Stupid old biatch in her mobility scooter was buying up the whole fecking store!!! I was sirely tempted to just wheel her out of the way. But it was indeed very worth it. HA HA 5 times maybe, but 7 times... :P Yeah it is a very rare version, I've been looking for it for ages too, I'm very happy John found it for me! p.s davey if yr museum is still open ill be round soon with a certain japanese 3" but its coming back with me as its all i have over you these days haha. Hahaha sure it's still open, just give me a ring first OOOOOOOOOOOOH yeah you lucky facker!! that would be the entrance fee you know! Oooh you won the BATB single?! Lucky you!! It is an amazing single!! Not only for the Unison photos, but moreover for the live version of Délivre-Moi Anyway here is my story of our encounter with Luc Plamandon On the morning of March 17th John and I were actually a little bit lost in Caesar's Palace. We stumbled by chance on the pool and decided to look around and take some pictures. Just as I was posing on a gigantic deckchair, (If There Was) Any Other Way echoed from the speakers! That was really fun to hear, but when John nudged me and pointed to a white-haired person who came walking up, my heart skipped a beat! There was Luc Plamandon together with a PR lady for Celine, she was an older woman, I think she is also in the tour book). At first, we didn’t know what to do, but we decided that John would run quickly to the Boutique and buy two copies of Dion Chante Plamandon. Meanwhile, I would keep an eye on them, so we wouldn’t miss him walk away. After a tight 15 minutes, which seemed to last an hour, John came running back. "Excusez-moi monsieur ... would you mind signing these?" I managed to say. Luc was very friendly and thought it was nice that he was recognized! The PR lady of Celine said to Plamandon: 'Oh that is your album?!’ Duh! We wouldn’t let him sign One Heart, would we!?! On John's backcover of the CD he wrote, 'To John, J'aurai Voulu Etre Un Artist, Luc Plamandon' and on my backcover he wrote: "To Davey, L'Amour Existe Encore, Luc Plamandon". Monsieur Plamandon did not mind posing for a photograph. To our great frustration and hilarity the PR lady of Celine) again and again did not understand how she should operate the iPhone! Each time she pressed or too late or too early, or the wrong button. While John desperately explained how she had to take a photo, Luc told me about the first time he was in Vegas. In 1957 he arrived in the then small, dusty Strip to visit a concert of Frank Sinatra. During the concert bottles of champagne stood on the table and everyone was wearing eveningwear like suits. After the concert, however, it was so hot that Luc tossed his black jacket into the fountain! Luc very much enjoyed the show Celine performs now in Vegas. He praised the show and proudly told us very interesting news! He just came that morning from a meeting with René. There was a large buffet filled with delicious food. That morning, René officially asked Luc whether he wanted to write songs for Celine again! Luc said he was impressed by Celine's version of "Ne Me Quite Pas" and told us that Celine needs a song like that of her own! The show gave Luc inspiration for new material. We could not believe it! What a awesome news we heard! It was so very nice meeting him and hearing that exclusive news for the first time! It’s one of the best memories I have of Vegas! Celine_Forever_2004 Posted January 2, 2012 at 03:00 PM Posted January 2, 2012 at 03:00 PM Like many of you, I haven't shown any purchases here for awhile. And there have certainly been some very exciting ones since I last did. Unfortunately, I'm not sure when or if I will get the chance to show off everything. However, there is one piece I'd like to show that I purchased a few months ago. "The Reason" Maxi CD from Europe - but with the same cover as the South African version! (The title text is in a different position and the image doesn't have the same graininess as the more common version). I didn't know this existed. I only saw a small picture when I made this purchase and assumed that I'd be getting the South African version (itself a non-trivial find). So I was very excited to discover a CD that I wasn't previously aware of when I received this package! Given that South African CD singles are usually identical to European maxi CD releases, I always thought the South African "The Reason" CD single (with a slightly different cover) to be a curious exception - but in fact it wasn't! Anyway, maybe you're all familiar with this release and I've been living under a rock about it for years. But I always find a previous unknown release exciting.
