A close-knit friendship. Nothing more than that. Like I said... I'm not going to push things further than a friendship like I have with my current close friends. I'm going to let it flow the way it wants... And right now I'm happy. Very much so. Though of course, I remain very careful. I'm sure of what I want and know that I'm going along the right path. I'm getting insights and advice from people here... and people I know. I have support every step of the way. I think I'm well-prepared for the journey ahead. But thank you for your concern. No problem! I know this is hard... Like I said, I have developed crushes and strong feelings on people who simply don't feel the same way or because of whatever reason, LOL. There is also a feeling of helplessness because one may want to have the chance to get to know the person and possibly more, but there is simply no chance... I do think though, that if she isn't gay, or even bi - It might freak her out a little if you two become good friends, then suddenly act differently around her. Maybe, once you two have known each other a while, you should be completly honest with her and tell her how you feel - you never know what could happen. I was madly in love and so confused because she was a girl and 17 years older than me. I was only fifteen and I had never been in love before so I really didn't know what to do... I wish I would have had all these good advises back then. Two years ago our ways parted and I had the most difficult time of my life letting her go and knowing that she wouldn't be a part of my life anymore. I was crying often those days, but I could feel that my heart what starting to mend. Then one year later I met her again and it was all coming back to me. Now I haven't seen her for a year. Sometimes I dream of her, but I feel much better today. But one thing is certain. I still love her and will always do, but the flame has turned into a glow. The other day my sister told me she had seen her and that she was pregnant. Just to know that she's well satisfies me! Even though it didn't work out for me I'll pray it does for you Erika!
