A Secret Love

Some of you, but not all of you know that I am so crazily in love with a girl that I work with, her name is Fara. I work at a restaurant as a hostess and she's one of the servers. She is absolutely GORGEOUS and is really nice and lots of fun to be with. Basically, she's AMAZING. . But the thing is, she's not gay... (I'm not either. I'm in between (bi) ) And she has a boyfriend (apparently), but he lives halfway across the country, but that doesn't bug me.

 

Anyway, I've been working with her for about two months now and at this point I'm trying to get to know her better, to get close with her and stuff... which I'm approaching quite well, actually. Let me tell you what happened at work last night...

 

1. I got her to say she loved me! I did something for her and I said, "I'm only doing this because I love you THAT much." And then she said, "Well, I love you too!" And I replied, "Nuhhh. I love you more!" And then it kind of went on for a couple more rounds until we cracked up. But it was so wonderful.

 

2. I got her to promise me a picture She was sitting in front of me eating chocolate ice cream and then I was fiddling with my phone's camera and was like, "Smile!" and she was like, "Noooo! I'm not wearing makeup! Next time, next time!" And then I said, "Next time? Really? You promise? I remember these things, I'm watching you! Promise??" "Yes! I promise!"

 

3. She said something to me that made me go completely gah gah. I was waiting for my ride that took FOREVER to come. I ended up staying an hour and a half later than I should have. I got off at 9:00pm, but didn't get my ride until 10:30pm... Fun, I know lol. And then she comes and sits in front of me and says, "Are you going to sleep here or something?" And I said, "At this rate, I think so." And she said... (OMG) "Awwe. You can come stay at my place. " I practically died LOL. And then I said, "I think that's what we're going to have to do if it comes to terms!" And then another 20 minutes passed by and I was like, "You know... I might have to come and crash at your place tonight." And she said, "Sure! You're more than welcome to!" *dies dies dies*.

 

4. And lastly... We hugged for the first time! This was absolutely magical! She and another server (Lisa) were about to leave (she was giving Lisa a ride home). And then I got up and was like, "Nope. You two aren't leaving without giving me a hug!" Fara and Lisa are my favourites amongst the servers. So I gave Lisa a hug. She was very huggable since she was kinda pudgy. And then I turned to face Fara and gave her a hug. I was amaaazzzinnggg. She hugged me back.

 

Anyway... It was an exciting night... for me anyway. My goal now is to get that picture with her... and perhaps get her number soon and then go out with her, like hang out or something to get to know each other better... On a friendly basis. That's all I could want/ask for right now. It's reward just to be able to be with her and to see her.

 

I was hoping I could get some insights on what I should do, how I should approach her... I know that this forum is full of people willing to help and I'd be so greatful if you could give me a hand! Thanks so much in advance!

Yeah. I know. So right now, I'm just not going to shoot that far. Right now I want to become really good friends with her so that we can hang out and be close-knit. That's my big goal right now, and I guess if it goes somewhere futher after that, then I think I'll go for it, but if not, then being a close friend will more than amazing.

 

I should be seeing her on Friday... I can't wait.

I try to talk to her as much as I can when I see her, to inch closer into the center of the friendship circle. I'm getting there slowly, but surely.

Zoea: That's a good idea. I'm doing that now and hoping that it all turns out okay.

I'm very careful not to do anything that would set her off, because that would just totally screw me over, and I don't want that because I truly to care about her so much.

I'm not too sure yet, though. I haven't gotten to talk to her THAT much, since I mostly only see her when I work.

1) To go socializing: Tell her you`re going to the mall on Saturday and ask if she wants to go too. Or to the movies or whatever.

 

2) To get a pic of her: Maybe instead of just taking a picture of just her, take lots of pictures and then just "by chance" get one of her.

 

3) Once you know her better I like Thomas`s idea

4) Buy a diamond ring and ask her to marry you

 

5) Pitch a tent outside her house and sing love songs all night

 

6) Make a shirt with her picture in a heart printed on it

She's not, and I know she isn't. But I'm cool with that. Like I said, it's a great reward just being able to see her and be with her. And if we become close friends, then I would have reached my goal. If we go beyond that, then I'll be in heaven.

I don't mean to rain on your parade, because I certainly know the feeling of having a crush on the wrong individuals, LOL, but please very careful. Given that you like Fara so much, be very careful if you do develop a friendship with her. Though you are certain she is not a lesbian and is thus not interested in women, guard yourself against being hurt. If you have strong feelings for her, a friendship with her may deeply strengthen your feelings for her. Even if such feelings grow deeper, you will still have to contend with the fact that she does not feel the same way about you. That may lead to great frustration and you may end up very hurt.

I'm aware of all that. In my head, it's only going as far as friendship... A close-knit friendship. Nothing more than that. Like I said... I'm not going to push things further than a friendship like I have with my current close friends. I'm going to let it flow the way it wants... And right now I'm happy. Very much so. Though of course, I remain very careful. I'm sure of what I want and know that I'm going along the right path. I'm getting insights and advice from people here... and people I know. I have support every step of the way. I think I'm well-prepared for the journey ahead.

OMG, what a big flirt you are lol, and it sounds like she was being a flirt back so it kind of sounds like shes on to you, its cute the way you guys are , i say you should take your charm each time to the next level, and try doing her some favors, i wouldn't worry too much it sounds like she knows there is something more than a friendship brewing and i wouldn't worry about her bf if all goes right she'll fall madly in love with you and dump him lol he'll love again, so yeah try to crash at her place more often, maybe tell your ride to not come one night, but do it randomly so it isnt obvious.
