Popular Post drove all night Posted April 23, 2026 at 12:00 PM Popular Post Posted April 23, 2026 at 12:00 PM (edited) Gosh! That was real fun! The way a should be! Researched in the old-fashioned way and in the end crowned with a finding ! In case you're interested in a little sneack "backstage of a Céline fashion nerd": Since I didn't find it so far - I've asked the team of the stylist of that project, not knowing if they would reply. But they did: "Balenciaga, vintage" was all I got. Well I've already had a tiny guess it might be Balenciaga, but checked only the recent collections. But today, with that information, I started from bottom to the top - thank God this coat was found in the 7th collection I've checked. "Hello! Gorgeous latex trench!" And b.t.w. of that collection Céline also wore other pieces like those fantastic colorful spandex pointy stiletto pants. This Spring 2017 collection was the second of a really crazy-creative director, the German-Georgian Demna Gvasalia, owner of the label "vetements" (also beloved by Céline, like that iconic "I love Paris"-outfit she wore in 2019!). - Demna left "Balenciaga" last year to become the new creative director for "Gucci". Thomas Posted April 23, 2026 at 12:12 PM Posted April 23, 2026 at 12:12 PM Great find! Is 2017 already vintage, yikes for us old folk. 4 Quote

Yeah "vintage" is everything which isn't to be found in recent collections. Although usually one thinks it's only those very old pieces. But 10 years in fashion is more than enough to be called "vintage". Quote

If only I would speak French! But obviously they talked about her new look and all the outfits he created for her. For those who have been sleeping under a pile of clothes: Michel Robidas became mostly famous by creating her "Eurovision Song Contest" outfit of 1988. Maybe @celine-fan-77 could help us out 1 Quote http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/daveyh84/incognito198701_zpsaaootxh1.jpgRick, ik hou van jou voor altijd!A New Day... has come 28/29 April & 2/3 May 07Antwerpen 13 et 14 mai,Paris 24 et 25 mai, Amsterdam 2 juinet Arras 7 juillet Chances Taken!!!How Do You Keep The Music Playing? - Celine Opening Night March 15th, March 16th
drove all night Posted April 24, 2026 at 11:01 AM Posted April 24, 2026 at 11:01 AM Yes - some things are very easy to find. Mainly if the very typical Tartan-pattern of Burberry can be detected! 6 Quote
celine_dion_faces Posted April 24, 2026 at 02:23 PM Posted April 24, 2026 at 02:23 PM In 2024, when the Angélil-Dion family attended a Hockey Game in Boston (March 21) and the Rolling Stones concert in Las Vegas (May) these sports shoes "Cloudnova" from "On" were worn by the twins. "On" is a Swiss athletic shoe and performance sportswear company that designs and markets sports clothing and running shoes. It was founded in 2010. It took me a while to find out the brand because I'm not that much in running sports. Meanwhile I love these (affordable) shoes, because they are super comfortable, not only for running. (Even though Céline's mom said: When you think about comfort you're getting old 😁) 5 Quote
drove all night Posted April 25, 2026 at 11:05 AM Posted April 25, 2026 at 11:05 AM Another release of the "Someday-I'll-Might-It-File", that nearly drove me - until the day some years ago I surprisingly discovered more information on the backside of a press picture, which was sold on ebay by that time. But even with knowing the label finding the right collection can be tough. Mainly if the research-possibilites are limited. From time to time I gave it anouth try - till last year I FINALLY found it! 7 Quote
drove all night Posted April 25, 2026 at 11:28 PM Posted April 25, 2026 at 11:28 PM Not 100 % the same she was wearing in 1990, but definitively the same collection. Chanel's cooperation-history with the French Bijoux Couturier Gripoix started already with Coco Chanel. These very special techniques to create jewels were founded in 1869 by Augustine Gripoix, a Paris glass worker. She invented "Pâte de verre", a glass paste, which forms when poured into a mold and could be much more brightly colored than the usual glass procedures. It's mostly famous for the Chanel Byzantine pieces. Céline owns quite some of it: Belts, necklaces, apart from the easy to recognize flower buttons on jackets, coats and dresses. In case you are interested in the "making of" a piece of Gripoix: https://youtu.be/i-CMpw8eYZQ?si=AtzWQVSUYwphPdv- 4 Quote
drove all night Posted April 26, 2026 at 01:53 PM Posted April 26, 2026 at 01:53 PM Unless better picture(s)/video(s) appear this will be mostly the only thing I can recognize. I don't even try to find the shirt or the pants - too much similar things out there! But the ring was very easy to recognize - even with the low quality picture, since she wore it several times. 5 Quote

drove all night Posted April 27, 2026 at 09:16 AM Posted April 27, 2026 at 09:16 AM Chanel ... what else! Hard to say if she used the bag in the way it was intended and she carried around all her make-up and beauty treatment products or used it just like a cool handbag. 1 Quote
