For many of us battling depression, the decision to seek further, inpatient care was not a choice made by ourselves. You've chosen to keep your personal and public life very separate over the years, but catching this small glimpse in to your world, I'm very proud of you for the decisions made. There seem to be few quick recoveries from depression, but speaking as someone who has dealt with similar feelings and who has been hospitalized for my feelings and actions in the past, I can attest that the payoff is SO worth the hard work. In fact, I've found the more work I've done to heal, the more rewards I've found in life. It's taken a long time for me, but therapy, some medication, and lots of support has helped me fill my mental toolbox with coping tools. Cheers to you, Frida! Quote
