I expect a LIVE album, but I would doubt that there will be a TC re-release this year. It would be a waste unless they promote it (what does PROMOTE mean?) A compilation seems too soon, although it's been 9 years since ATW was released. But with only 4 english studio albums, that's a bit too soon. It's a way for the same album to get more sales because the labels know that die-hards will buy the Deluxe version as well as the original version. My guess is that the "Taking Chances" re-release will include "Let Me Be Your Soldier" and maybe a couple more songs we don't know about that were recorded but didn't make the cut. I could also see Sony including the will.I.am version of "Eyes on Me" and releasing it as a single around that time. If Celine does a track with Timbaland for his new record as it's been rumoured, it'll probably be included as well. Just speculation at this point tho.... Perhaps they'll follow with the TV specials tradition and put "That's Just The Woman in me" special. That would be nice. It was supposed to include the japanese version (18 tracks), 4 new tracks, remixes and a DVD with the recording sessions and interviews But another compilation? Well I will just be interested on that if they continue the (stupid) Collector's Series, that is waiting for the Vol. 2 since 2000. Its not the first time that I see a person in the record shop asking if they could give her the Vol. 2 because she already had bought the Vol. 1 6 years ago So it would be a good opportunity to release the second volume. The album, All The Way...A Decade Of Song, wasn't very well put together. Songs such as "Misled," "Where Does My Heart Beat Now," and "All By Myself" (American version) were excluded which shouldn't have been. And now that many new songs have been released such as "A New Day Has Come," "Have You Ever Been In Love," "I Drove All Night," "You And I," and "Taking Chances" it would be a great opportunity to help the casual fan have all these great Celine classics on one (or two) discs. As for a live album I'm thinking it would be excellent. Do I think it will be from the Taking Chances World Tour? No, but I hope I'm wrong. It may be an updated live disc from A New Day... or perhaps they'll go back in their archives and release an audio version of Live In Memphis. Either way I'd be thrilled with any of those. Remember, Celine recorded 25 songs for ANDHC and as Chuck Taylor said, the list that Rene once presented to him was inclusive of titles that he had never heard of again! Also, if they could find a way to get the 3 Phil Spector productions, that would be the BOMB!!! A reedition of TCH would be much welcome too! If the 4 new songs happen to be great and well-promoted (ehem), the album will live again and might do BETTER than it did the first time around! Maybe I'm asking for too much but I'd KILL for an English song in the vein of "A CAUSE" (NOT an Anglo translation w/c I'm afraid would sound awkward) and produced by Timbaland!
