Your Favorite Album Layout?

let's talk about love ... i love the cover and all the rare pictures that appeared years later like this one

I think that after all the myriad of b/w album artworks and boring covers since 2007, if they bring a little of colour in the next album cover it will be a favourite of mine lol

My favorite layout is Falling Into You but, I wished they would have used a different picture for the cover. That whole album is magical and that picture is too simple for the cover. I feel like the picture they used for the cover of All By Myself would have made a better album cover.

 

I also love the layout for D'elles and Taking Chances. They are both so beautiful. I never get tired of looking at them.

It also wasn't until a couple years later that record companies were prioritizing CDs over vinyl. They didn't print a booklet for vinyl like they eventually did for CDs. So, early CDs had mini versions of the vinyl cover sleeve.

In fact, the photographer of this album has been the same photograph to produced the covers of many covers of Madonna, Rolling Stones, Whtney Houston.....!

 

And false, Sony have a huge promotion in Canada when she released this album, but depiste this huge promotion, the sales has been low at this debut in English Canada and the radios diffused low the two first singles. So this is the reason the released in United States drag and drag and drag (everything changed with the conference of Sony International in Quebec city. After that, the album has been released two months later in United States). The success in Canada of this album finally up when she released the single Where Does My Heart Beat Now.

Although the LV dress from ANDHC is one of my favorites from Celine's wardrobe (weird pose in that Demarchelier pic tho... tree hugging) Love the cover of LTAL, too, of course - and the "Seduction" montage inside FIY (that D&G dress fitted her hips so beautifully)

I would argue that this photo looks dated, particularly the fashion. The album cover they went for is timeless, well the hair is a bit of a giveaway but otherwise.. 😂

Oh I really love the cover of FIY and Unison. But for all layout and cover, I will choose FIY. I like ANDHC cover too, buat I don't like family theme layout, I feel like it's not goes the same direction with the freshness music in that album.

Unison has a bad layout because they didn't put any pictures of the GREAT photoshoot it had. If they had included the pictures of the promo single of Have A Heart or Any Other Way, you'll change your mind

My favorite is... hmm. I keep changing my mind, but I've always loved The Colour of My Love

The full picture of the Unison cover is horrible. Sony was really ahead of the time with album covers at the early 90s. Mariah's first album cover wasn't great either.

I love the original OH cover. I think she looks more sultry than angry. Fits the mood of the album, in my opinion.
